This amp does exactly what I need. I picked this up to record some demos of my original music, at low volumes. I use it with the Tascam DR-07 and i'm able to make some quality demos. The amp is no frills, and simple, but it has everything I need to get a tone similar to my 100w combo, and representative of my style. There are no presets so you just have to keep tweaking to get what you want. Packs a good punch for a 12w, but lacks the depth and power of my half stack, which is excusable and expected. Gain an overdrive can sound fizzly, but again, great tone for a 12w amp. The amp is built like a truck,great quality.

I bought this amp to pair with my Schecter Damien Elite and I'm very pleased with the results. The sound is excellent and very powerful for only 12 watts. I'm a beginner so I wanted something that was easy to use and didn't have a ton of functions to try to figure out in the early stages. The amp is very easy to use and to adjust to your liking. The limited functions may be a drawback for some, but for me it's perfect.

No complaints. Love it. Nice price, meets all of my current needs, looks cool, sounds awesome and its an Orange.
Not too many features, but that's why I like it - it's simply and straight forward to set up and use. However, I will say that the volume control could be improved.
Awesome sound. Really fills up the room. Nice bang for a 12W. Solid construction and looks really sharp.
MF gave me a great price and didn't charge for shipping. Great value.

The only thing I wish it had were a slightly bigger speaker. At louder volumes, the tone doesn't hold up as well as similar amps with say, an 8 or 10 inch speaker. But for playing by yourself at a reasonable volume, this amp really sounds phenomenal. It's also an awesome home studio amp for those of us on a budget.
The features are very simple, but that's what I love about this amp! It's hard to find a cheap amp these days that doesn't seem to have a thousand and one crappy built-in effects that just ruin the sound. This amp has the basic 3-band eq and what sold me on the amp, separate gain/overdrive and volume knobs. For a practice amp, that is essential. It also has a headphone out jack, but the sound quality just isn't the same unless it's coming out of the speaker.
This is an amazing amp, with classic Orange quality and tone.
For the money, this thing is unbeatable. The 12 watts are quiet enough for an apartment practice session, small enough to easily transport to your buddy's house, and loud enough to be heard while jamming with some friends.

Worth every puny penny - a fun and easy to manage amp that will travel anywhere with you. Wish it could run 120 - 240V since I am in Kenya.
Sweet and simple. Not flashy but very functional with both overdrive and gain knobs to help create outstanding tone in a VERY small amp. The size is perfect for airline travel as both its weight and size are easily managed in a good-sized piece of luggage (guitarists must have certain travel priorities after all). Works well with both multi-effects and stompboxes as it it provides a pure tone on its own.
Reliable and consistent tone. One observation is that the plug insert on the back in set in a sheet metal plate and feels a little flimsy. Loving the orange tolex.
Great value for the tiny price - really delivers well.

I bought the CR12L about a month ago and I absolutely love it. For such a tiny thing, it's got a lot of features and a wide range of sounds. It's built solid and nice and heavy for its size. Sure, it's solid state, but you really cannot complain for the price. For a practice amp, it's great - a good size to bring wherever you need it and dial in the tones. If you want something to perform with, you could always mic this baby up.The tone is killer. The overdrive is great if you're into heavy rock or British blues rock but the clean signal is great, too, surprisingly - nice and thick with a lot of punch.If I had to complain about one thing, I noticed that there is a very noticeable hum and buzz if the overdrive is over 6 or 7. But really, that's such a minor problem it shouldn't affect most people.

This is a great practice amp for some one on a budget or just starting out. The Orange Crush 12L takes up little floor space looks cool and when combined with a Boss SD-1 Super Over Drive makes a great bang for the buck practice amp. I have a Vox AC30 Top Boost and a Fender Hot Rod Deville , but only the crush 12L do I use every day.

I bought this mainly to mic for recording in my home studio for light overdrive amp sounds. It fits that need pretty well. The clean sound is nice too. When I just want to sit and play by myself, I plug into this instead of my '65 Fender Deluxe Reverb re-issue, which is a little loud for just personal practice and requires a pedal to get any dirt at low volumes. With the Orange it's just plug in and go. Nice.
