Switch out the power tubes for a different palette of tones!

The Rockerverb 50 MK II tube head builds on the proven Rockerverb formula and improves the tonal range available to players.

This 50W. all-tube, two-channel head offers the ability to switch from the stock EL34 power tubes to 6L6s, KT88s, or 6550s, giving you access to an incredible array of rich tube sounds.

The Rockerverb 50 MK II's clean channel delivers a super-rich tone with beautiful harmonic overtones. It's also a non-master channel, much like on a vintage Orange amp, so when the amp is cranked the power section will break up and deliver delicious, classic British crunch that's perfect for rock and blues.

The dirty channel on the Rockerverb 50 MK II is no one-trick pony. Going from full gain and winding back gives you a variety of classic Orange tones. Whether you're looking for metal, fusion, blues, rock, or even country the Rockerverb 50 MK II doesn't fall short.

The Rockerverb 50 MK II also comes standard with footswitchable reverb and an FX loop.

Check the drop-down menu to the right to select colors and/or other options.

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 50 MK II 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

The Orange Rockerverb 50 Mkii is an amazing head. I've owned it for about 2 months now and it has just been amazing! Compared the the Marshall i used to run the orange amps tone completely blew me away. I tried this amp up against the Marshall JVM410h and this one came out on top by 100 points. I have played 2 gigs with it and it was quite easy to port to those gigs. Playing through a orange 4x12 cabinet it sounds a million dollars. I give this amp a 8/10 because the reverb is quite disapointing as it is very artificial and is not to my liking. The Reverb knob does not turn up the length of the reverb only the volume of the reverb in the mix. If you are looking to by this amp. I suggest you do because it is the best amp i have ever played through.

      sweet amp

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 50 MK II 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

If your thinking you want one. Get one. It's my favorite amp and I have lots of them. I got the head with the 2x12 closed back cab. WOW!
I give it a 9 just cause of the reverb see later. It's got all you need. 2 channels, 1 dirty that is as clean as you want it or as dirty as you want it. 1 clean channel that when cranked breaks up like it should. plenty of EQ options. I love it. The only thing I'm not just in love with is the reverb. It works and does the job however. It works well in a mix though it fills it up like it should. Just not what I like when playing alone.
built like a tank, solid, great components, this things sings.
for the quality you get this is a fantastic value. You can pay alot more for other boutique amps and not have the quality you have here.

      Rockerverb 50 MK II

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 50 MK II 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

I bought this amp after playing Marshall's for twenty years or so. Every one of those amps needed modification in some way to make them closer to what I wanted to hear. This thing did it right out of the box. It was way different tone wise but once I got used to navigating the controls I was amazed at the way my old guitars sounded.....in a word, better. That's what a good tube amp is supposed to do.
Feature laden with fx loop and plenty of eq options. I give an 8 because the reverb isn't very useable.
Good quality build and very heavy. I was pleased to see they didn't put cheap tubes in there like most manufacturers.
Expensive. Worh it if you want world class tone.

      Incredibly Versatile!!!

Comments about Orange Amplifiers Rockerverb 50 MK II 50W Tube Guitar Amp Head:

      Pros -

This amplifier is insane. Everything you could want out of a british style tube amp. The gain screams, the clean is fat and makes even the thinnest single soils sound fell and woody. Not a lot too say. I initial had no interest in this amp as most of the reviews geared the MKII towards a metal style amplifier. IT IS NOT. This is no metal amp, it's an everything amp. With the ability to switch out the tubes you can get any sort of distortion you'd like. It's loud well build and solid.

Cons - (none of these are really cons)

The head doesn't come with a footswitch (not complaining just informing)

Reverb is not a traditional reverb. It lacks a pop that say, a Fender has. It's more of an instant swelling effect. Turning it up doesn't necesarilly add time to how long the reverb lasts it just sort of makes it louder "in the mix". Again it's not an issue you just need to understand this is way better of a melodic effect. It gets a nice creepy feedback that I've never heard before. Great for disonant minor style finger picking.

The amp breaks up at a low volume. There isn't a TON of headroom (With humbuckers only... single coils chime fine) To me I really like how it breaks up. It gets a nice natural overdrive.

OVERALL. If you're looking to buy a british sounding tube head that you can do ANY style of music with buy this amp.
