(Note: This is for a Classic 30/112): Footswitch works fine -- be be aware that Peavey mislabeled the switch. The buttons say "Effects" and "Reverb" -- actually, the "Reverb" switch ONLY works if the switch is plugged into the Reverb plug ... and then the "Effects" buton does nothing. If you plug the switch into the "Channel Select" plug, then the two buttons will control "Channel" and "Boost" -- but not reverb. If you want to control both Channel and Reverb, you need to add an extra single button switch for the reverb.

I've had my Peavey Classic 50 since 1995 and it has been my primary amp. After all of that use my original foot switch stopped working. Not bad! The construction on this unit is a bit cheesy compared to the footswitches on my Fender and Egnator with the buttons have a sort of latchy feel when depressed. But the unit has always done what it needed to do; -- make it easy for me to swtich channels and turn the verb on and off.

I gave it four stars only because the cord is not detachable, but it is long 15 feet.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:

Peavey still makes these for their older SS amps like the Bandits, Express, etc.
Their product support is priceless also. I wish that they used metal for the casing instead of plastic but at least they still make these.

The Footswitch does work with the Peavey Bandit 1x12

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:

Correction of earlier review, this footswitch will work on the Bandit. Your amp needs to be set on the Lead Channel for the switch to change channels. Also the right switch which says Reverb does not control Reverb it controls Boost which for me it better than if it controlled the Reverb. Suits my needs fine. For the money its worth being able to contol the amp with your foot than with your hand. I would by it again.
It a footswitch and it has 2 footswitches
Made of Plastic but I think it will last a long time if you take care of it.
Cheaper but less durable than my VOX 2 button metal footswich and unlike the VOX switch it has a nice long cable.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:

I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when I finally got my hands on this pedal. I had a little combo amp for years without the forthwith and decided to change that.the price was extremely affordable so I can't really complain about the lack of quality or rigidity. Bottom line: if you're looking for a simple and cheap forthwith for your practice or backup amp, this will work great. Just be careful not to stomp too hard or you might break it.

Comments about Peavey 2-Button Stereo Footswitch:

Bought the footswitch for a Peavey Classic 30. Works fine. You must engage the OD channel on the amp for the channel switching button to work. The reverb button switches the reverb on/off. Doesn't do anything for the boost. Still have to do that at the amp. Oh well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad.
