I use this cabinet with a Peavey Bass Combo 115 and it works great. Good solid construction and sound for a cab in this price range. I would like to see a speakon jack but that would probably push up the price.Peavey gear is not sexy but it is rock solid reliable. I count on this gear now more than ever. It has proven to be far more reliable and durable than my Ampeg gear.I use it at my church every Tuesday night and Sunday morning and as my small gig rig when I sub for my friend in his classic rock cover band.
this is a cabinet that i intend to buy, i have played several basses through it including a peavey fury 4 string, an ibanez soungear srx, fender j and p basses, and a 4 string spector. usually i have used either a peavey max 450 or a max 700 (nitrobass and firebass), i have also used a 115 tvx extension cab, everytime i plug into it, i am amazed at how good it sounds, it would work for any style of music, and is very reasonably priced, a very good buy.
I use it with the TNT 115 and it's a sexy combination. ROCKS!
i needed a portable system that could go along with 4 basses [which i usually take to sessions or gigs] that would handle the power of a nitrobass head, and fit easily into a nissan sentra. it does both beautifully. it also works well with my my hartke tp210 and gives me the versatility to always be asked to join new bands or make another band sound good doing a "hired gun" gig! the only piece of equipment I cherish more is my jp90 bass!
