This amp kick ass i would put it again marshall and about any other high end brand it desently priced and it worth every cent if you a looking for a good tube amp this is the way to go.
The most amazing, responsible, breathing cab I've ever owned.
Sounds awesome. Nice low end, but still tight. My only complaint is the uncomfortable handles.
I got these with my 5150 cab back in '94. They haven't let me down except that the insert jack for the speaker cable got busted into the cab when I loaned my rig to a punk rocker (stupid istake) I don't know how it happened but I super-glued it back in and it works fine. I play with very loud drummers typically and wanted a little more volume so I got the cab modded for four ohms and not only was it louder but it has a more in your face raw sound as well. The only beef I have with the cab is that when I play with high gain at loud volumes with the head on the cab I get a terrible rattling when the bass frequency wave collapses which makes it impossible to record clean. This may be the head though and can probably be remedied by placing the head on a surface other thn the cab.
I love this cab, It may only handle 300W but it sounds great. Its a better cab than you may think, it sounds better than the XXX cab. Its worth the money!
This thing is extremly loud.
i use these with my 5150 head and i get the great crisp sound i want, without having to spend so much money on something like marshall.
