I have been drooling over these for years, played the demo's for hours at the local music stores, never had so much to to part with though. Been playing 21 years, this amp is by far the best sounding I've played out of. I'm still experimenting with the modeling, but I have been able to get any tone I need so far. It takes a little time with this amp, mainly because there are so many sounds and models you can pick from and adjust. I think I have my new favorite for the majority of the stuff my band plays, and then I'll find another group of settings that seems even better. It's like Christmas with each new preset I make.About the volume, with this connected into a aluminum cone Behringer 4x10 cabinet, I have heard parts of my house go snap/crackle/pop when I have the volume on 4 and 5. Extreme sound pressure levels, but the sound is clear, no distortion, and powerful. Can't beat the sale price for this amp, take it by itself to practice, grab it and another 4 ohm cabinet for a gig, you'll never need anything else.

I was very excited to get this amp and when I pulled it out of the box it was in great shape, but did it weight a lot! The effects could use a shut off on the front panel, without goint to foot switch. I wanted to try out the dry sounds of the amp without the effects. But that foot switch thing was a pain! The head phone jack is a good idea! The effects are not that good (sound wise). The handle is a good idea, but if the handle is not pulled all the way up / or all the way down it vibrates as well as the logo on the front.BUT THE AMP JUST SHUT OFF DURING PRACTICE AND I COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT GOING AGAIN! THE AMP HAS A FUSE / CIRCUIT BREAKER IN THE BACK AND I FOLLOWED THE MANUAL TO RESET THE AMP, BUT IT STILL WOULD NOT WORK! So back to the drawing board!

    GET ONE NOW

    By Michael K.

The Peavey 210 is a bass players dream. The power is out of this world. With modeling your own sound is great. This is not a amp for the weak of mind or slow at heart, it is for the pros. To bad Peavey has stopped production of this amp. When they are gone they are gone.

    Get Them While They Last

    By Bryan Van

    from Indianapolis

I recently purchased a new Bam bass head. I had tried a friends 2x10 Bam that he has played for several years, it is by far the loudest and most advanced bass amp of it's kind that I have used or have seen some one else play.My favorite thing about the amp is it is very purcussive. The amp moves alot of air and has alot more kick that other amps. This amp has it all, Tone, Ridiculous volume, Tuner, Effects, Modeling. If you register within so many days you will get a five year guarantee on the electronics.

    BAM!

    By emptyminded42

This is the best valued bass cab i've ever seen. The presets are nice, but the ability to store your own settings is amazing. The effects are pretty good too. The modeling blows me away every time. You can honestly get any tone from this amp.It has deep lows, punchy mids, and clear highs, which you can cut down with the adjustable tweeter control in the back. This amp is very loud and built like a tank. It blows away my drummer pounding away at his set as well as two fully cranked guitarists with high distortion. In short, it you want great tone at high volumes, unlimited diversity in your sound put in a very durable [albeit heavy] cabinet, this is the amp for you.And the wheels in the back are a lifesaver.

    BIG BAM BOOM!

A friend recommended the Bam 210 by Peavey to me & I have been blown away with the amount of amp this is for the money. The sound is so clean & amazing, the features are many. I needed a studio amp that I could hear over live drums. The bam keeps on delivering. I'm thrilled with it. I couldn't be happier. Stunning.

    Great modeling amp

    By Michael Reed

    from Yuba City, CA

I have had this amp (and the PRO115 subcab) for 6 months. It is very powerful, very versatile and I love it. Very well made and it has everything I need. Coupled with the Pro115 subcab, it has an incredible and powerful sound. People cannot believe the power that comes from this amp. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have cutting edge technology and great power. A bit pricey, but I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Love the built-in tuner, direct box and compression gate too. Peavey did a great job on this unit.

    Pro Investment

    By Skid-VKSmh

My Digitech BP8 went kapoot. My Power amp in my component rack was on the fritz. I started looking around for a new effects unit, a practice combo, and new power amp for my big rig. Add all that up and I was looking at spending big bucks. I read these reviews and thought I should give this thing a listen. I called a local store around here and they said they had the floor model on clearance. After a couple of days of tweeking on the presets, this was the perfect purchase. Alone it makes a great practice amp. Used in conjunction with an external cabinet, it replaced my whole rack set up. I haven't decided if I will use my SVT410HE or my SVT118H. This was a bargain for what I would have spent on separate components. I haven't had the chance to play live with it but I am looking forward to it.

Very solid and dependable performer for the money

    By lroach

    from Oklahoma City, OK

I've dragged this amp to gigs all over the place. Despite the loading and unloading, it always performs. it even filled up a stadium with solid bass sound and has more features than most of us can even comprehend. Buy it! You will not be sorry!

Have had the BAM 210 for about 2 years and use it with a Peavey 15. If you want a rig with Feature after Feature and Performance second to none...This is the one.
