I am a professional solo entertainer. I like this little amp so much, I bought a second one in case they ever discontinue it. I sing and play acoustic guitar and this amp handles all of my gigs. I do use the line out feature sometimes to a powered PR12 Peavey, and I have even used the lineout into the house sound system at big venues and used this amp as a monitor.I mix my vocal sound and guitar sound with this amp, then line out to a dry channel in the house. It gives me complete control of my sound. But 99% of my Gigs are simply this amp, my guitar, and a mic. Most of my gigs are outdoors on a deck or patio, and I rarely turn up over 3. I tried the 112EFX and I did not like it. Hissy horn, and and too bulky. The sound is very true an accurate with the 110EFX. One tip, keep it flat on the ground. If you put it on a table or amp stand, you bottom end will suffer. It is designed to bounce bass off of the floor. The effects are top notch and I have dropped, banged and generally beat mine up and it keeps working and sounding great.

    ECOUSTIC 110

    By HairyDawg71

    from Jasper, Alabama

I was able to trade an electric guitar amp I had toward the purchase of this Peavey ECOUSTIC 110 at the local Music store here where I live. With the three prong mic connection, Low and High Anti Feedback, seperate equalizer and effects (Doubler, Phaser, Chorus, Rotary SPKR) for the acoustic guitar that I use, and the microphone effects (Chorus, REV, DLY/REV, DLY) I couldn't be happier and I'm still learning when and how these are best used. Great unit, Great sound. It really reinvigorates my love of music.

I OWN IT / AND USE IT

    By The Renegades Band

I own both the 112 and the 110. Of course the 112 is better---it's also larger. I carry this to small gigs weekly. I also play Nashville Deluxe and Nashville PWR deluxe tele's and they sound great through both of these Peaveys.

    Great Value for Compact PA

    By Rev. Macky

    from Western Maryland

This amp/pa combo works great for small gigs. The acoustic guitar sounds great through it. For vocals I swear by peavey 22 mics. The feed back ferret feature allows for the amp to be placed behind you -- so no monitors are needed. If you are a solo act and need a small portable pa, the Ecoustic 110 might be your answer.

My acoustic doesn't have any tone controls, so this amp really help me get the best sound from my acoustic. Great mic sound also!!!

    Awesome Amp

    By Anonymous

    from Undisclosed

This amp is awesome. I play electric rock violin and this amp in addition to a few supplementary pedals gives me everything I want. Being able to run a mic through it for vocals is a really great feature too. This amp can really pump the volume. For a violinist who plays with drummers and guitarists, I can get swallowed up in their sound, but with this amp I'm the one drowning them out! Another great product by peavey. Wood violins rule!

    Cool

    By basscat

    from portland, OR

I tried every amp available for my acoustic bass w/piezo pickup before buying the ecoustic 110. The pre-amp on channel 1 is the warmest one that I have found; absolutely beautiful sound! Even seasoned jazz pros with Polytone history were amazed. If it only had phantom power for the mic input...

    Disappointed

    By Josh

    from Normal, IL

At first when I got it, I was ecstatic. As time went on, I realized that the warmth of my acoutic guitar was not coming through as well as I thought it should. the effects are a great but the unit itself, I don't think exemplifies the actual tone of the acoustic guitar.
