The newest addition to the Vypyr family is the Vypyr 112 extension speaker cabinet, which features a specially voiced 12" Blue Marvel loudspeaker. With 40W handling and a 16-ohm impedance, it's suitable for use with a number of amp heads and as an extension cab for a combo amp.

I received the cab, only really needing the cab. I use with a Boogie combo, and needed a small cab for larger rooms. My intentions were to switch the speakers, and after plugging it in, it made my choice very clear. The speaker is NOT a blue marvel, at least not the one I was hoping for. The sound is paper thin and breaks up even in the tightest cleans. horrible. You do get what you pay for, but only purchase if you have a celestion or ev to install in it.
The construction of the cab is so-so....not up to normal peavey cab.
Again, it is not built as well as the classics or delta cabs, which is what I was hoping for.

Again, you get what ypou pay for, and in this case the cab is the overall value. The Blue Marvel speaker could be bright, more mids preferred for me as I play more Pop / Dance rock in a working band.
You get what you pay for... Heck the cabinet is worth the price. Set up as a stack with my Blackstar 5 HT...not bad gives it the stack bottom end....a little muddy in my opinion, but for the price a good buy for practice. Might be better served playing through a solid state head...
So far looks pretty solid, came in great shape. Love the "black" look
Good value overall, I would probably not pay a cent more

For the price, this thing is fantastic. Build quality seems very good. This is a closed-back cab (the specs/pictures don't tell). I've paired it with a Kustom Defender 5H head and the sound is amazing for the price. This is my first little "stack" setup so I can't really compare it to anything else, but for me it's rockin!
