The coolest half stack you've laid eyes on.
With Wiggy amp head and speaker cabinet in a half stack package.
Switching on the Wiggy activates the hazard flashers (power indicator), and you plug in to HIGH OCTANE (high gain) or LOW OCTANE (low gain) jacks located just below the MORE (drive/boost) knob. Twist the RPM (gain) and MPH (master volume) controls to get things going, then sculpt your basic tone with the BATT, OIL, and TEMP (low, mid, and high) EQ knobs. There's also a BOOST control for post EQ fuzz. When you're ready to push things into the red zone, go for the WIGGY tone sliders (5-band More/Less tone control), the PRESENCE, T. DYNAMICS, and RESONANCE controls. Amplifier section outputs 100W into 4, 8, or 16 ohms (switchable impedance), footswitchable effects loop with level switch, preamp out and power amp in jacks, dual paralleled speaker output jacks, lighted control panel, footswitch included.
The Wiggy cab features 2 - 12" Sheffield 1230 speakers; switchable stereo or mono operation; 16 ohms mono, 8 ohms stereo; and 150W mono, 75W per side stereo power handling. Closed-back configuration cabinet, but the back is removable. 2 - 1/4" input jacks.

well, i got this amp from a local music shop after studying them for some time. it's pretty loud for two 12's, but when you turn it up past half way it seems to lose clarity. also the distortion that the head produces is small. i spent hours trying to find the perfect tone but all i got was angry. i am now selling this amp to get a marshall.
This thing is a loud 100 watts. Great for any effects pedal to boost you to way loud!
If you judge the cool looks of this amp, it's the amp for you. However, if you want some effects, if you want some features, if you want something that you can set up and never move because it's so heavy, this is the amp for you. Great Peavey Quality!. Great Looks! However, the amp has no soul, has no features I'd want to play out with. Way too heavy to be useful to a working musician. Too many other amps that would do the same job at a fractions of the price and especially a fraction of the weight.
This amp is very versatile. I have gotten classic Marshall (JCM 800 with a little less gain) sounds, clean Fender tones, and some that were unimaginable. This is not a metal amp (I have a 5150 combo for that), unless you add an appropriate stomp box. Built-in reverb would have raised the features rating to a however, I love the ability to add my own in the effects loop. This is a great value. I would definitely buy another. Kudos to Peavey and Dweezil.
This amp is spectacular! I've played alot of other amps, but this one truly lets you dial in a truly unique tone. Its really really loud for 100w paired to a 212! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a great, cheap amp.
This a very good amp, I just bought it a week ago for $**. The only problem I've really had with it is I don't think I can switch between a clean channel and a distorted channel. This is my first half-stack, the only amp I've had is a Peavey Blazer 15W.
