Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
I have this (AXS Road Buddy) and the AXS XL and I really like them both. I recently bought the Road Buddy to use for acoustic gigs because for a while I was lugging around the XL with all my pedals in it and only using 3. It is great for electric gigs because I have a lot of pedals but for acoustic gigs I only need to use my boss tuner, T-Rex delay, and RC-20XL looper.
PROS: This is much lighter and easier to carry than the XL. It still has the great design of the hinged, angled, hide-away compartment and the carpet allowing pedals to be velcrowed anywhere. It's exactly 1/2 the size.
CONS: It seems have been put together with a minor lack of craftsmanship. The carpet covering is fine. Maybe I just got a bad one, but some screws were not tightened all the way and the latches DO NOT LINE UP TIGHTLY! The latches on this keep coming undone during transport. This is not a major issue but I got scratched on the wrist by one of the latches when it came undone! I tightened the screws and tried to bend the latches a little bit but it still came undone again last night during trasport to/from a gig. Also, they included velcro but it was useless because it was the wrong end that doesn't stick to the carpet. I had to use some I already had which isn't a big deal.
My XL has worked fine with no problems. I would still recommend this. Mine must be a fluke. It is strong and will protect your pedals and it allows for neat wiring and I'm all about that.

Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
My first pedal board owned but I looked through tons of different types, brands, and materials. Honestly I felt this one was the best for me. It's very sturdy and well engineered because not only can you use it as a pedal board but you can also use it as a luggage box. The plat form that the pedals lay on lifts so you can put your gig needs in it. (less baggage to carry). Although, I did have to do a minor and easy (with the right tools) modification. The screws that held the hinges in place were not long enough. So I just drilled through the board where the holes already were and used a long enough nuts and bolts to hold the hinges in place. FYI-if you own a kitty meow meow, they like to dig their claws through the material.
Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
Only reason I didn't rate a 10 was that it would be nice to have some pre-drilled holes in the center area of board for tidier cabling. No problem adding them yourself though.
This is an extremely well built pedal board with some great features. I was looking for a small pedal board to hold just a few pedals and this fits the bill perfectly. In mine I've got a Vox wah, Fulltone Plimsoul, TS-9, and a Boss TU-2 Tuner. It holds these pedals without issue. A Voodoo Lab Pedal Power fits nicely below the hinged compartment. The compartment is also great for holding cables and accessories. Very well made, well engineered product. I'd recommend it highly to anyone looking for an outstanding board to hold a few pedals.
Built like a tank.
You get what you pay for. This blows away the cheap plastic boards made by others.
Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
This board is well-built, sturdy, and very rugged. I love the fact that I can set it down, pop the top and plugin, no awkwardly lifting the board out of the case. Also, the storage underneath is great for cables, power supply, etc. My one recommendation, replace the carpet with actual velcro for a more secure hold. Otherwise, great board!
Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
This board is perfect for someone who doesn't use a ton of pedals but wants them kept safe and easily accessible forI had a flat p a gig. I have 8 pedals (Boss, Fulltone OCD, MXR, EH Small Clone) plus a Boss FV-50 and they fit great. edalboard before this about the same size and the angle of the road buddy is great for quick reaches. The space under the board is great too, now I can bring all the cables I need for my rig with me and don't have to pile them on top of the pedals and mess up my settings. Great piece of equipment, solidly built I can tell it will be able to take a beating, just what I was looking for.
Comments about Pedal Pad AXS Road Buddy Pedalboard:
I have a line 6 pod 2.0, ernie ball volume pedal, Keely compressor, and a TC Nova Repeater. They all fit perfect on this board. Simply open case and plug up 1 AC plug to the wall, plug guitar into the volume pedal and plug output to amplifier and I'm ready to go. I love it!
