I can't say how pleased I am with this board -I needed a large pedal board that would hold all of my 13 bulky pedals and stomp-boxes, and commercially, this was the only thing I found that made the cut. So I ordered one.
You may or may not have to buy more velcro. I thought they were a bit stingy with the amount that came with the board; personally, I just needed about 2 more inches of the stuff. A previous reviewer stated that the velcro would not hold his pedals to the carpet -it holds my pedals just fine. If you have very heavy pedals, I just I could see that, but if you have very heavy pedals, you may want to look elsewhere. Being a board made of wood, with all of my pedals on the board and with the lid on, it weighs right at 45 pounds. That is the only downside I see about this board.
There are slight gaps in between the sides of the panels and the edge of the board (and a smaller gap in between the panels when set down). The gaps are big enough to run cables underneath the board and out to the surface. I have more than enough room underneath to store three guitar cables, two 6-foot instrument cables and some strings. Highly recommended!

This is a durable, spacious board, but for the price you could do alot better. The grip tape that came with it is no good, not one of my pedals sticks firmly to the board, so using this product is the equivlent to throwing all my pedals into a suitcase. Since Ive purchased this, I have tried two other kinds of adhesive tape and have gotten the same result of pedals not sticking and moving around, so it has to be the "carpet" on the board. Using it in an environment where you won't be moving it often would work, but if your constantly lugging gear around to gigs or practice I would def stay away...

This pedal board gives me plenty of width for my ME-70, EQ, Boss ds-1, and 4 button amp pedal, and FS-6.Plus the angle is better than some I looked at as far as reaching the top row of pedals without accidentally activating a pedal on the bottom row.The "hidden" compartment makes routing cabels easier and less cluttered. The loop covering makes velcro a snap, just apply ot the bottom of your pedals and place it where you want it.
