Putting together a little pedalboard for the new bassist. I have several Pedaltrain boards, 2 Jr.s (with a and b versions of my guitar rig) a Mini (with my Looper, a delay, a tiny trem pedal, runs in the effects loop but currently unused) and the OG original Pedaltrain w/a hardcase that toured 9 countries in 7 weeks. That board played 5-600 shows before getting retired, like the smaller Jr., much much easier to shlep around. Pedaltrain is dead simple, lightweight (unless you're touring, don't bother with hardcase on the bigger boards, too heavy and not particularly roadworthy), comes with all the bits you need to set it up, good price.

Board is compact and well-designed. You do have to buy the right kind of power supply with it, so add another $20+ to the cost. The single dumbest thing about this pedal board is the case it comes with. If you use the shoulder strap to pick it up, it immediately flips the whole thing upside down because of where the straps attach. So you have to make sure the pedals are extremely well-attached. It's like nobody in their design room bothered to test it out before putting it on the market. Would I recommend it to a friend? Maybe, but with some qualifications and a price reduction.

Great pedalboard!

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

The velcro is good. The ties included were a nice feature. I put a tuner, compressor, overdrive, chorus, and DI box on the board. I hooked a daisy-chain power supply to it using the ties. I put it in the bag and it fit with lots of pocket storage for other accessories. If youy don't use more than 5 pedals, this is the only way to go. I am an accomplished musician with 37 years of playing experience. I know what I like, and I like this Pedaltrain.
Basic aluminum construction. No frills. Nothing to break down in the future. Perfect for 5 regular size pedals.
Strong. Sturdy. Reliable. What more could you ask for?
Compared to other smaller pedalboards that don't seem to be built nearly as well, it's a fantastic value.

Pedal Train Mini - so simple!

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

Really, how can you go wrong? It is extremely solid and well-made, and a perfect size for kepping a few pedals(4, in my case) neat and tidy, without taking up much space on the floor. I hate tripping over a big scramble of pedals at the base of my mic-stand, so this thing is just the ticket. There's one little hitch that I didn't think of, however; the back of the Mini is a raised lip, which, given the shallow design of the board, makes it impossible to use some pedals which connect in the back rather than the sides. I use a Boss double pedal rotary simulator, which won't work on this board without right-angle connectors; i also have a Danelectro Reel-Echo, whcih won't fit on this board at all. I wouldn't call this a fault or design-flaw, just an important point for potential buyers to consider. If you use large or back-connecting pedals even in a very small set-up, go with the next size Pedaltrain(more depth, no back!).This aside, it's great; the bag is good and sturdy, too.

Well made and very easy to use.

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

I am very pleased with this product and will be getting another, larger pedal board from PedalTrain for my main board in the future.
I thought that the pedal board was well layed out and easily held 5 standard sized pedals. The Velcro supplied was way more than sufficient to cover the board and pedals. However, the wire ties supplied could have been a little longer, as it was difficult to contain some of the wiring bundles I had with the length provided.
The board appears to be very well made, but lightweight, and the carrying bag shows quality work as well.

Good as advertised, minor quibble

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

If you're tired of setting up just a few pedals, this is a great choice. Pedaltrains always live up to their reputation. The product is great. My only beef is a minor one with the bag; the metal loops that connect the shoulder strap are such that when you go to put the strap on your shoulder, the bag stays flat (as if it was on the floor), instead of on its side, "standing up", flush against your body. Seems to defeat the purpose of a shoulder strap. So a bit of a design flaw to me, but only if you plan to use the shoulder strap often.

Works great, price seems high

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

Works great. You have to get the right kind of power supply (which of course adds to the cost) so that you can fit it all underneath the board. It's very basic, just a metal rack, holds 3-5 pedals depending on how much real estate they take up. In fact it's so basic that the price seems a bit high...you take it out of the box and you're like "this is it?" Especially when you consider that you'll also have to drop more cash on a power supply. But it is a good pedal board, lightweight and easy to set up. Comes with velcro and zip ties to secure your pedals, and a carrying bag.

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

This pedalboard can fit about 5 avg. sized pedals. It won't really fit a wah, or longer pedal. Great for the basics. Nice design to keep your set up clean. Zip ties and velcro tape were a great touch. The bag is a nice size with a sweet pocket in the front that fits my wah for a quick set up.

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

This tool-bar is strong and will take allot more stomping than anything I put on it. Even today's mini boxes fit nicely along the horizontal strats. I'd say 5 pedals fit comfortably, maybe more but it would be pushin it. The bag, the bar and the velcro are all quality products.

Comments about Pedaltrain Mini Pedal Board:

This piece is great if you just want to use 3-5 or 6 pedals. The fact they include cable ties and velcro is a great touch. In response to the comment above about the shoulder strap and being able to carry it flush to your body just take the strap and loop it under the handle.
