I have 6 pedals mounted on my PT-1-HC board with room for more.
Most of the wiring is under the board, keeping the look neat and clean.
I would recomend this product to a friend, And if I ever need a biger pedal board,
I will buy a Pedaltrain Board.
The Pedaltrain PT-1-HC is one of the most versatile pedal boards I have ever used. The board is all metal with a nice Satin Black finish. Comes with the best Velcro made. Zip-ties to keep wiring neet. Brackets for mounting power-supply under the board, leaving more room on top for pedals. A locking hard shell case that is foam lined, with extra room for cables, and miscellaneous gear.
When I first opened my PT-1-HC board, it was well packed and wraped in bubble wrap. Metal construction, square and flat, with Rubber feet. The best Velcro I have ever used. The locking hard shell case is light duty. { not a flight ready case } But the keys also fit my guitar case.
Pedaltrain pedal boards are strong, light, very well made. I would buy again. I think a 13" X 22" board with hard case, and all the goodies, for a Great deal.

Purchased my PT-1 w/hard case 11/28/2011. Pedalboard itself is fine for my purposes and may last longer than I do. Case, however, is junk....just as some reviews say it is. Packed case did fall off of rolling cart atop smaller combo amp, maybe 2 3 foot fall, landing on one corner. Split open to reveal really poor construction. As far as I can tell, non-repairable. As far as it being airline compatible: it might survive in the overhead storage in the cabin, but as checked baggage, it would probably come off the arrival baggage conveyor belt in splinters. After less than 3 months, my case is useless.

Pedalboard gets a "10" but case gets a "1. Technically that's 5.5.
Again, if my case were not now useless, I'd rate this higher.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
I bought this pedal board because of the "hardshell" case. The corners came apart almost immediately. It's really cheap and cannot withstand the weight of a typical pedal board.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
The actually pedalboard is really good and is provided with a lot of velcro - I used the velco with the hooks (rough side) on the board since it allows the pedals to work off the board and not stick to carpet, attracts less dust and this provides a more stable platform. Which side to use is a religious debate.
Pedalboard does take up a lot of stage space, which is why I'm moving to a nano. Not using a mounted power supply, but rather a power strip velro'd underneath - plenty of room for this.
I gave this a 4 because of the case - it's not really sturdy enough for frequent uses. Leaning on it from the side causes the aluminum frame to buckle- if you need a case for what is likely many costly pedals, get an ATA case, which they provide as an option.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
I love my pt-1 but I did not realize the case was not ATA. It is more like a suitcase, which is still hard and has a lot of padding, I would just save and get the PT-2. Also i find myself having to turn pedals sideways to make room for more pedals because I run out of space.GREAT board though...Pedaltrain is awesome.

Great gear, light weight, it's already set up to for voodoo lab.
Tip: They come with pedal velcro and voodoo lab mountings brackets already included. So don't bother buying on the side...

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
I play all styles of music, but I mostly use this pedalboard for my church gigs. I don't like a to have a lot of effects on my rig for my style of playing, but I eventually accumulated enough to merit buying a pedalboard.
The Good: It's simple. Applying the Velcro is easy and installing the Voodoo Lab power supply is straight forward if you know how to use a drill. All the wires hang neatly beneath the board out of sight.
The Bad: I'm not impressed with the hardshell case. The hinges seam weak. I'm sure it will hold up under most abuses, but it could be better.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
The pedal board is built like a tank and comes with a nice case if you travel. The voodoo lab pedal power 2 fits/mounts perfectly under the board like the board and power supply are one unit. I got 8 good size pedals on the board and used the bullet cable kit system for neat appearance and clear sound with little change in tone or volume.
Comments about Pedaltrain PT-1-HC Pedalboard with Hardshell Case:
I just wish I'd bought it sooner. Between this board and the use of a PedalSnake, setup is always a stress-free breeze!
I've had 3 pedalboards including the PT-1 and it is BY FAR the best. The beauty is in its simplicity. It's set up to use a power supply by Voodoo Labs, but I use a 1 spot run through my PedalSnake, and things just couldn't be easier or more space efficient.
I'd rate it a perfect 10, but I knocked off 1 point because one of the rubber feet came out the back of the board (easy fix though), and another point off because one of the latches on the hard case that came with my PT-1 has broken (but ultimately still holds together enough to work).
There's not much to this board, but it's PERFECT - especially when paired with the pedal booster riser you can get to go with it. Nice, thick steel and flat black finish means it's built for utility. I absolutely love my PT-1 and if I need a bigger pedalboard, will only buy Pedaltrain in the future. I just don't think there's a better board out there.

It's worth the money. You'll get a great value out of any piece of equipment if it's high quality and you are actually gigging with it. You get what you pay for.
It's a board with a case, and it's sized PERFECTLY.
Used for 2 years so far. Can't bust'm. Bought this especially for the case and foam lining.
It keeps your gear it good order. It should when you've got 8 pedals in this case!
