Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

This is a terrific pedal board and case. Worth every penny. It comes with plenty of "Velcro" to attach your pedals and zip-ties for your cables. The box is well built and tough as nails and there's plenty of room for chord/mic storage if you need it. It does weigh a lot, but that's the price you'll pay for high quality.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I was down-sizing my effects rig and looking for something to replace my huge pedalboard.Tried the PT-JR...works for me! My 8 basic pedals fit nicely. Pedal frame is sturdy, light, and cables can be neatly routed underneath with included ties. Case is well-made, sturdy, and should be good protection for pedals. Also very nice is the included brackets to mount power supply underneath pedal frame. If you use a ton of pedals, probably want to go for bigger model. Again, for a basic/compact set-up, the PT-JR works great.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

Love the ATA case, especially compared to the "Hard Cases" that come with other pedal train models. I will trust this case much more than the plastic suitcase that came with another Pedal Train "Hard Case" model I previously bought.

Board is sturdy and looks clean. Fits my:
        Line 6 G50 wireless receiver
        Boss tuner
        Fulltone Full Drive
        Fulltone OCD
        Red Llama
        Carbon Delay

As you can see I don't use too many pedals, so this size board is perfect for me. Fits on small stages much better than anything else I've used, which is ideal if you're an opening act.
Case is big enough you can leave in a few cables and extras and they'll be safe, I don't regret this purchase at all. Obviously you'll need a power supply.

        PT-JR Pedalboard Review

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I received my PT JR with the ATA Hardshell case and started to drill the mounting holes for my Voodoo Lab Pedal Power 2+ Power Supply brackets, and when I went to lay the Power supply in place, realized the Pedal Train Pedalboard Frame was welded at an angle. The power supply would not fit. I called MusiciansFriend, and it was a little more hassle than I had thought it was going to be.

They said they could exchange it, but wouldn't be able to mail out the exchange until they received the return. They told me this could take about 15 days total until I'd receive my exchange. They also informed me all I would need to do is use the "Return Label" on the paperwork they mailed me with the package and it's already paid shipping via UPS. I got to the UPS Store, only to find out shipping is NOT paid for, and two different representatives at MF informed me it was paid for using this Return Label. They completely mislead me. About an hour later (after calling them numerous times), they e-mailed me a UPS shipping label, which took a while. I then printed it, and finally was able to have my package shipped at their cost.

What I did instead was told them to just return this order, and re-order a duplicate of the order, just so I could get everything in time for that upcoming weekend. The representative on the phone seemed rather confused, and this too was frustrating.

The new pedalboard arrived a few days ago, and so far I enjoy everything about it, although it was very frustrating going through their return process. It is a very solid pedalboard, and the case, is larger than I had imagined it'd be, but seems to be a very nice, tough case.

        liking the features

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

It does the job its supposed to do and more.
I love this unit. I had the Gator Gigbox before and although the gig box is bigger it has its issues with size and portablity. The wah and 5 other pedals fit nicely on board its rugged and neat. what more can I say it works and looks good.
the unit sells in Australia well about the $350 mark. I wish id come on here first.

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I purchased the USED PT-JR with hardshell ATA. One of the rubber feet on the case was broken off inside the box...and it MUST have happened at the Musician's Friend warehouse since the rivet was missing. If it happened in shipping, it would have been somewhere in the box, but it was not. The ATA case is well constructed. Very high quality. The Pedaltrain PT-JR is well constructed...welded together and very durable. The PT-JR comes with mounting brackets for my VooDoo Lab power supply. However, I was required to drill my own pilot holes with my own drill. You will need a 1/8 drill bit for the holes. The screws for attaching the brackets are very low quality...they're very soft metal...and the screw heads strip out easily. There's a large "Pedaltrain" sticker on the front, so I peeled it off, soaked the rest of the sticker paper & adhesive in acetone, then after about 1 minute, peeled the rest of it off. So, here's the list of cons:1. big ugly sticker2. broken used ATA case3. low-quality screws for mounting power supply4. no pilot holes for mounting power supply5. requires power drill and 1/8 in. drill bitSince it was used, I expected some minor damage...but missing one of the rubber case feet wasn't expected. I deducted a full point off the overall score because of these things.

        Absolutely amazing...

Comments about Pedaltrain PT-JR Pedalboard with Hardshell ATA Flightcase:

I just got this board about a week ago and have nothing but good things to say about it. When I got it out of the box, right away I noticed the high quality flight case. I knew I chose the right board for great quality at a very low price. This is my first pedalboard that I have owned, so I decided to get the Jr for more space for pedals in the future. Right now I have the boss dd-20 giga delay and rv-5 digital reverb on it. With the strong velcro that comes with this board, mounting your pedals is a walk in the park. The amount of velcro included is enough for the whole board with plenty left over! My favorite part about this product is the openings on the board so that you can store all your cables underneath (this board also comes with plenty of zip ties for keeping your cables nice and neat, and brackets for mounting a power supply under the board, the Pedal Power 2). Overall, it is a fantastic board for both beginners and professionals. Unsure about what type of pedalboard to get?Go with a Pedaltrain, you will not be let down.
