Comments about Pedaltrain Terra Pedal Board:
I am very happy with my Terra 42 - I needed the big one so it can fit all my stuff properly. I got it a while ago, but I wanted to wait a bit until I could put all the pieces on my rig and provide a proper review. I like to have my vocals & effects in the same place so this is all I was able to fit: CryBaby Mini, Digitech RP1000, Vocalist, Trio, JamMan, Drop with 2 remote switchers, a pedal train booster for the Drop, Pedaltrain Power train, a power strip and a mini mixer and every cable/connector I need. Its great because now I just need to push one button and the whole thing comes up alive and ready for action! After taking the time to work your signal flow and spacing... setting up/break down is as easy as getting it out of the case, putting it down on the desired spot and taking it away when you're done. The main reason why I got it, is because it saves me tons of time, it has all my stuff neatly arranged, and I don't have to worry about fighting or damaging any cables or connectors each time I set up and break down. The size is just about a the size of rectangular guitar hard case. The board itself is very light -- which is good, because with all my stuff, it does get pretty heavy but the bag seems to be holding with no problem. This particular model is not cheap, but it is well worth the money - especially if you consider all the valuables its holding in place. The strong Velcro it comes with even holds the RP1000 with no problem. I do recommend having a two-man team putting the Velcro in the rails.... I opted for putting the soft side on the rails, and the sticky side on each piece of gear. I did add some additional securities (zip ties) just in case -- but this is one perfect piece of gear for my needs. If you are hesitant still to get it, trust me, you will be glad the moment you can see how much time it saves you. Also, its great because you can put your stuff away in safe place without worrying somebody stealing one or more of your effects.
