Classic EL 84 tones with some special EQ tweaks and a limited edition finish.

The PRS Experience PRS 2010 PRS 30 30W Tube Guitar Combo Amp is a striking and limited edition of the PR 30 and features stealth tolex with a unique charcoal maple face plate.

Described as an English sound with an American twist, the PRS 2010 30 Combo is the first 30W cathode biased combo in a series of lower wattage amps. This amp features a quartet of EL84 tubes with a control layout similar to PRS's Dallas model and a 12" ET65 WGS speaker. PRS 30 Combos are handmade in Stevensville, Maryland. Other features include reverb, bright switch and a special master volume that is dialed out of the circuit as the amp's volume is at max setting.

Comments about Experience PRS 2010 PRS 30 30W Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I played this at PRS Experience 2010 and I did not like it very much. It seems more suited for Santana style rock or classic rock, I didn't like it because I play heavy metal and hard rock. The distortion was ok but not for hard rock. I do not recommend this to metal guitarists. PRS has great guitars but bad amps.
