Classic tube tone from whatever power tubes you prefer!
Randall takes tube tone from mellow to blazin' with the new Diavlo Series RD50C 50W tube guitar combo amplifier. Perfect for blues-based rock, hard rock, and metal, the RD50C combo has Clean and Overdrive channels, a 3-band EQ with Presence control, spring reverb, effects loop, and much more.
The Classic Clean channel is broad, with tones from sparkling to highly overdriven. The Modern Overdrive channel takes you into full-on high-gain territory, perfect for blistering leads or dominating rhythms. A global, tube-driven Boost function takes either channel to the max.
The RD50C combo comes stock with 2 JJ El34 power amp tubes, but is compatible with 6CA7, 6L6, 5881, 6550, KT88, KT77, and 6V6 tubes. Best of all, it's fixed bias, so no setup is required when switching tube types.
It's loaded with a Randall-designed RD12508 speaker voiced specifically for Diavlo Series amps that breaks up nicely when pushed but still holds together at high volumes. This is not a generic OEM speaker! Many months were spent developing and voicing the frequency response to complement the RD50C combo.

My amp arrived with the Clean Ch dead. I was going to return it, but this model is no longer available. I took it to the Randall warranty repair station (which there happens to be in my town). It took them 2 weeks to get to it as they were backed up, but it was worth the wait as this amp is as good as any tube amp I've played.

Hard to believe this is my first tube amp (if you don't count the one I bought in 1967 for 15). I am very happy with the purchase. Time to retire the old Peavey.

Wow, what a nice amp. This really rocks with lots of punch thru overdrive, and nice clear tones thru clean. The overdrive and 3 band eq allows for a surprising variety of great tones. This is a very good amp at list price, but I bought it for half price on Musicians Friends Stupid Deal of the Day. Its seriously the best purchase i've made considering quality, sound, price, and overall service from musicians friend. I very highly reccomend this amp.
