Comments about Randall RD5 Diavlo 5W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

I bought a NAMM open boxed model for cheap, like 40% off It was worth it. I'm a Randall fan having had a Cyclone half-stack in the past, which was monstrous. Randall with tubes sounded intriguing and the Mike Fortin design has voiced this little 5 watter perfectly for metal and hard rock. I wish it had two channels, but so be it. Worthy of note, it does not have the specially voiced Randall Diavlo 12 inch speaker with the cool Devil stencil on the magnet, it has the standard randall rs12-50 watt, which sounds good but being a Diavlo model I wish it had the corresponding speaker. The RD20 and RD45 combos do. Overall I love this little amp. Its loud, not drum kit loud, but almost. Good for Maiden, Metallica, Slayer, Rush, etc...even Warren Zevon! Real crunch with plenty of sustain.

Comments about Randall RD5 Diavlo 5W 1x12 Tube Guitar Combo Amp:

Nice amp with a lot of power. It needs an EQ in the back end to really boost up the sound a little more. Easy enough to get a clean sound and big enough for the grungy/dirty sound. Blowing out my basement with it.

Great sounding amp only resonance I did not give 5 stars is because I wish it had 2 channels.
