I'm 24 and have been playing guitar and playing in bands since I was 13.So I'm not some dopey kid who knows nothing about amps and tone and so on...I play punk and like to have that metal tone(Ya know something with some bite to it)and this is no marshall trust me.If you want to pass on buying a bunch of crap and just pissing money away then listen to me save your money and get something a little more but a lot better this amp is great but if your playing shows and need to be loud.Check into randall's RH300G3 same thing but 300 watts instead of only 150 watts Trust me your gonna need it and make sure you get a cab that'll handle 300w or more or it won't last P.S. Dont buy a behringer cab been there done that big mistake but thier mixers,P.A.,mics and other audio stuff are OK though. Stay with the recommended cab like duh a randall cab
