Alright, I originally was in the market for a Marshall TSL100, which is what, only one of the best amps Marshall makes today, but I didn't have the $2,000 to spend on it, so, I went with the more powerful Randall, and I have to say, I think i definitely made a better choice, the sheer power of this amp is mind boggling, I crank it to 3 (out of 10 mind you [not 11, ha, spinal tap])and it starts to shake my house, and my sisters start to complain from 2 floors above me. But the tone you get is awesome, and the distortion is incredible, in my mind a lot better than Marshall's (that is if you're into playing 80's metal and stuff) the distortion is much harder, crunchier, and has a lot more low end, without getting muddy, it is awesome. Oh, and the effects look is really sweet too, this amp is definitely a must have.

I bought this and returned it faster than you can say Randall! The cabinet was constructed very poorly...covering was slowly falling off the the body of cabinet. Adhesive wasn't present, which is why it was falling off. The head over-heated after 30 minutes of use at a #4 volume setting. Once it started overheating it made horrible sounds and also kept cutting in and out. I'll never again buy a Randall Amp unless it's the Warhead. It just goes to show you that if a price sounds too good to be true, you're more than likely getting a piece of low-quality equipment.

the head isnt THAT bad but the cab SUCKS

See all my reviews

if you buy this head DO NOT BUY THE SPEAKER CABINET THAT IT COMES WITH! the head isnt horrible, in fact good for its price, but the cab is the biggest piece of garbage in the world. it makes the tone muddy and it farts when you turn it up loud enough.
