Comments about Randall RX Series RX35BM 35W 1x10 Bass Combo Amp:

Solid. Well made. The electronics show attention to detail-i.e. no 'pop' at power-up or power-down, a three-prong detachable power cable, and the amp section is physically seperate from the acoustically-correct, ported speaker enclosure. The sound on this amp floored me when I fired it up. This is more than I expected from a practice amp, and I would use this as a bass lead on stage or in recordings. The controls and features are very basic, which appealed to me, but may not appeal to others. There is no speaker-out jack, but I would actually purchase another one of these to run stereo effects. I am a 25-year thrash metal veteran and I hold amps to a high standard, and I am very tight about spending my money. This is like buying a Polytone or similar 'boutique' amp without the price tag or jazzitude. This amp was a bargain, and I would have gladly spent more for the tone. Good job, Randall. Horns up!

Comments about Randall RX Series RX35BM 35W 1x10 Bass Combo Amp:

I needed a small, low-watt amp with a 10" speaker to use for a monitor in church, so that my drummer and piano player can hear me. But it also needed to be able to handle my 5-string without getting muddy or woofy. This Laney fits the bill perfectly. I run through a Sansamp Bass DI to FOH, and the parallel out to the Laney. Nice, punchy tone, loud enough that it can be heard where it needs to be heard, but it doesn't overpower the FOH. The price was just right, too. I would buy another if something happened to it.

Comments about Randall RX Series RX35BM 35W 1x10 Bass Combo Amp:

I bought this amp for the purpose jamming with a couple of my friends who play acoustic guitars. And to my surprise, it does that and more! It's pleasantly louder than i expected it to be, and doesn't have any buzz at high volumes. While it doesn't have any additional features other than a basic EQ, it is perfect for a basic practice/jam amp. For the price, the volume and clarity that this amp can put out is well worth the buy.

Comments about Randall RX Series RX35BM 35W 1x10 Bass Combo Amp:

First thing, this is a great value. Did not need another small combo but got it because the price was right for a small bass amp with a 10" speaker. Got it and was surprised at the build quality and sound that came from this unit. While i think it's ugly on the outside, what's inside made this thing shine. I own an Ampeg and a Acoustic about the same size and this is the winner, REALLY! It's not packed with a lot of extra features, but it has what you need. I would have no problem grabing this one to play a small gig. Great deal!
