Basically any tone you want. the only amp that gives both tube and solid-state tones.
Any sound you want! Randall solid-state tone is the best on the market, and with the additional tube preamp and all the EQ options, it's extremely versatile.
Best S.S. hi-gain tone on the market, plus a tube channel to match. If you play heavy rock and want the tone you've been looking for this is it!!
Ive always liked using randall amps ever since i heard dime use one on panteras first album but i always wanted the amp to e more versatile and a lot more rigid and the Vmax gets both done well. You get tube and s.s. channels tht you can get any sound out of it you want and with 300 watts its got enough headroom for just about anywhere. It costs alot less then any of the marshalls (in my opinion are the only amps that are better) and beats them even the mode four with all its features and i think its one of the best sounding amps ever. Pair this with some XLT cabs and the combo cant be beat!
lots of gain, lots of low end. Grafic eq is pretty cool also. Check this out if your looking for metal. It's not the amp for everyone, but i think it kicks.
In my opinion it's an all out powerful tone machine. There are so many tone posibilities it's insane, but surprisingly easy to control and adjust. This head has more then met my expectations and I am finally comfortable with my sound.
