most for your money
I bought two of these amps one for my self and one to put in the church for anyone to use. I will buy another as soon as I find them for the price I paid for the first two.I have all kinds of amps by different brands Fender Gibson Yamaha and others Both bass and guitar amps. This is the cleanest amp I ever heard. and everyone that uses it in the church, Just go on and on about how great it sounds. And they love built in tuner. By the way if you turn the volume down so you wont blow the speaker you can tune your bass with it also I am of the old school that thinks music should be smooth and clean. I don't use any kind of distortion guitar picker
can't beat it

Raven RG60

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

I bought this to upgrade from my Peavey Vypyr 15 modeling amp. I have a metal distortion pedal, so I don't need to effects besides maybe reverb once in a while. This amp's clean channel is amazing, much better than the Vypyr. However, there is a buzzing noise whenever I turn it on. It's in the same spot I had my Vypyr, but I didn't get any buzzintg on that one. This buzzing is always on, no matter if I have a guitar plugged in and/or the volume on both all the way down. The upside is that you can't hear it when you play. This is a good practice combo amp for the money, and it's quite loud. I barely turn the knob and it my drums shake.

great blank platform

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

despite what many say, this is a great little amp that is VERY responsive to pedals and such. Although i personally have a RG-100 2x12 combo, this ain't too much different. If you want the limitation of all of your effects (digital no less) in one amp, then get something else. If you want the tone of your guitar to shine through and have the versatility of the ungodly amount of effects out there, then check this puppy out.I have mine with a Blackstar tube distortion pedal in front of an Boss ME-50 and have a Boss eq in the loop. It ain't a tube amp, but it takes the Blackstar pedel very well. Also, who wants to burn out their tube amp on shred shed practice hours?

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

i have owned this amp for 2 and a half years now, it is still amazing, some people say the distortion sounds like crap, i will be the first one to tell you that what they are saying is bull crap, it is amazing, only problem sometimes the tuner dosent work, about the only real flaw.

Really quite good

By Honest appraiser

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

There is a lot of trash talk about this amp and how the distortion sounds like garbage, let me be the first person to go ahead and say:no, it actually sounds pretty good. What everyone is upset about is that it doesn't sound like marshall overdrive. News flash: the knob doesn't read "overdrive," it's distortion. It sounds metal turned all the way up, and sounds like a heavy overdrive underneath that. If you want a loud, well balanced LIGHT amp, you really can't go wrong with this. As a player of no few years, I readily recommend this amp to anyone who plays diverse styles. Of course if you only play 12 bar blues, get a fender and save your breath. It's a good amp.

Save your money

By Roberto y Sanchez

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

Don't be impulsive and buy this because it has more power than your current amp. Save the cash and put it towards a better amp. This is good, but leaves you wanting a Marshall or Line 6.

Perfection

By ChrisBMichels

from Montana, USA

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

The Raven RG60 is my amp of absolute perfection. First off all, this thing really is made to work with your effects pedals/processors. It does an excellent job of delivering exactly the tone your effects are made to have. The RG60's natural sound, both clean and with gain are perfect for those who really only need a couple of sounds. This thing also gets LOUD! You won't believe how loud this 60 watter will get.

Easy on the wallet

Comments about Raven RG60 Guitar Combo Amplifier:

I bought this amp about 2 years ago, and still have it. I am upgrading to a new Bugera halfstack just because I want something that wont get muddy at high volumes. This amp is great, with tones ranging from classic rock, to metal. Sounds great with most any pedals. My only complaints are that the tuner doesn't work well at all, and that the amp is relatively hard to make out individual notes when at high volumes, but that is to say about most solid state amps. I definitely recommend this amp to someone who wants something small to take to a friends for practice, or a novice/beginner. Hope this helped
