Rivera Amplifiers are legendary not only for some of the best tone on the planet, but also for rugged construction and long life. This tradition continues with the Rivera Clubster. Compact and lightweight, yet big on tone, this all-tube amplifier will please amateurs and pros alike.
The Clubster puts 25W of 6V6GT power through a 10" Rivera Celestion Vintage Gold speaker. The amp uses two 12AX7 preamp tubes - reliable and easily accessible for service. Built with a full plywood cabinet, welded zinc-plated steel chassis, audiophile-quality components, and military-grade construction. Comes with a footswitchable Accutronics 3-spring mechanical reverb and a 2-function footswitch.
Around back, an effects patch loop is provided along with an external speaker jack and a line output for recording or P.A. feeds. The power cord is detachable and easy to replace.
Clubsters have two completely independent preamp channels, each with its own EQ. section. Channel 1 is a high-gain channel with 3-band EQ and a switchable gain boost, and Channel 2 is a sparkly clean channel with 2-band EQ and enough gain and headroom to overdrive the power amp when needed.
Dialing up clean and distortion tones has never been easier. From Mississippi Delta Blues to Birmingham Steel Rock to Nashville Clean, your tone is home with the Clubster amp.
The Clubster is a professional amp suitable for serious working musicians, yet it is quite affordable. Casuals like a wedding or party could not be any easier, due to the compact size, low weight, and abundance of fine tone.
For recording, Clubsters do the job well. Utilizing good miking technique in recording situations, this small package of excellent tone will lay down great sounding tracks. You can also use the Clubster to power an external Rivera 412 cabinet, allowing you to record stack sounds easily.

I tried VERY hard to like this amp. It is the perfect size, built very solid, and has quality components throughtout. If you're someone who likes a great clean tone and uses pedals, this could be your ticket if you want a high dollar solid amp, but I personally could not achieve a decent gain tone out of it. I turned knobs for hours, different guitars, etc. The gain channel is raspy and thin. Very anemic sounding to my ears. I like a nice meaty AC/DC medium gain classic rock tone out of my dirty channel, and that was not to be had with this amp. For as much money as this thing costs, I just couldn't justify keeping it, so it went back.
Feature set is good. No complaints. Clean, Dirty," Reverb..etc..has the basics covered.
Perhaps one of the best ""buily"" amps I've owned in recent years. It is very solid and feels like a quality piece of gear. I can't fault it here.
I just don't see it. This amp casts way too much not to be able to get a decent gain tone out of it.

they say its an all tube amp but its not, they use some solid state circuts to cuts cost, as it only has 2 12ax7 preampe tubes, which make the overdrive channel sound sterile, no name spkr doent help either for all this money for this little amp your better off looking around some more!

It's just hard to believe that a sound this fat could come out of a 10" speaker. Rivera has knocked one out of the park with the Clubster 1X10. The reverb just drips, and the boost channel sounds better than anything I've ever heard.

I recently purchased the Clubster 25 with the 10" woofer. This amp is built like a tank, has a small footprint and very well made. I was surprised by how loud that little amplifier can play... amazing. Reverb is excellent. Top notch for the clean channel, very similar to Fender. Overdrive channel is also very good, nice crunch... but it's the clean channel who had me buying this amp. I directly compared the Clubster 25 to the MESA Express 5:25 and although the crunch was better on the MESA it was clearly lacking clarity on mids and highs... I would even qualify it "muddy". The Clubster 25 is much more neutral and natural, which I prefer... so I ended up buying the Clubster 25 and I don't regret it at all. You won't neither.

I just received this amp three hours ago and have not put my guitar down since. The tone with the stock tubes are in my opinion great sounding. Clean on one channel, (You will need an overdrive for a bluesy tone) and everything in between on the other channel. At low volumes this amp is very quiet. Great amp for practice or live if you miked it. But it is very loud on its' own. A bit expensive but well worth it.

I bought the Clubster unseen and unheard and have no regrets whatsoever. It makes a terrific small job and practice amp. The single 10-inch speaker limits it somewhat; but this is deliberate so that you can crank it in small places. Add an extension 12-inch and it roars! A great amp with sparkling, bubbly, organic tube-tone! Bravo Rivera!
