I've owned the Knucklehead Tre Reverb for just over a year. This is now my go to amp, and that's over a Marshall DSL 100 and numerous Mesa Dual Rectifiers(including a pre-500 rectifier). Very simple and easy to use, just two channels. On the clean side (channel 2) it has 4 knobs and is very straight forward on dialing in the sound you want. Now the gain (channel 1) is where this amp really shines and clearly what this amp was built for. I play hardcore and metal through multiple ESP's with active EMG 81's and Duncan Blackouts. The sound is just in your face brutal, but not harsh. This amp, has by far the most gain out of any head ever built and it's all useable. My 15 year search is finally over. A high gain clear sounding amp that you don't need to boost with a pedal, or keep from hissing with a noise gate ect. just plug and play. There are seperate EQ's the only thing you share is the presense knob. The build quality on this amp is amazing. From the second you take it out of the box you can tell this was handbuilt in the United States. Even the foot pedal is heavy duty and won't slide around on the floor. To sum up this review I knew someone who took this amp on his deployment to Iraq to play in the barracks. If it can handle a war zone, it can handle anything.

If you play rock, punk, or metal of any kind, I'd recommend this amp. This amp is powerful, clean, distorted, and built to last. If you can get your hands on a used one it's well worth it but if you have the money to spend then go for it.
The amp is very straight forward but it has a lot of little features that make life easier. It has a footswitchable effects loop with a send and return level, which when turned up anywhere past 7, acts as a volume boost. The effects loops can be asigned to ch.1 or 2 or both.
This is the most solid amp I've ever laid my hands on. The wood feels remarkabily solid, the chasis is rock solid, and all the knobs have a great quality feel to them. My K-Tre is from 2006 and looks brand new. Road worthy is an understatement haha. The circuit is nicely tuned and sounds great at low volumes or cranked. The cleans are crystal clear but can be cranked into plexi territory with the gain knob if you want your ears to bleed. The other channel is great for anything from rock to metal (although it honestly sounds best with the gain at least set to 3 or 4).
It's a lot of money but it's a very solid amp, made in the USA (California), and sounds great.

For the style I enjoy playing, this amp does it all. The only amp I've found that I can plug directly into and get every sound I need. Compared to friend's tubeheads, this thing is a quality monster! Such beefy components too!This amp has so many different sounds with all the push-pull knobs such as boosts and eq scooping.It is pricey but I'll never need another amp again!
