If you have a pedal array of 4 to 8 effects, you aren't going to find much at this price. But you are paying for what you get. Its not that this is cheap quality, it is more that it is a simple solution with limitations and draw backs. This is all one piece, meaning you unzip the flap and tuck it underneath and you have your pedal board ready to go. Its nice and simple and might actually work for you. But be warned, that the base of the "board" is soft and floppy. It is NOT a solid board! If you do alot of switching on and off or use expression pedals during a song, this is not for you, there is too much give in the material for confident live hard switching. Also, since there is no gap below, all your power and cables have to run along side the pedals, which can get messy. I had a problem where the protective soft lip around the edge of the bag didn't alow me to plug directly in without an L shaped cord. This is also offers minimal protection against the bumps and bangs of equipment that may slam into it during transport.

With all that said. This is a great bag for someone on a budget with 4 to 8 pedals in their set up, that doesn't require much live switching, or isn't traveling on a plane, or "throwing it in the back" with other gear. You will need to provide your own power source for the pedals.

Some day i will graduate to a Pedal Train or something more professional and travel worthy, but for practice and local gigs, you can't beat this price.

Got it on a sale. Here are the downers:What suppose to be solid (so the pedals would be comfortably pressed) is not so solid. Light (a plus), but not solid. Zippers are cheap, and that's where problems usually start.Ups: LightBottom line:Looks good in the picture, but you have to understand that in order to play on it like in the picture (when it's loaded), you have to put the other part of the pedalboard under the part that holds the pedal, thus making it even less solid. Good for replacement, and to store the pedal you're not taking out. Dust keeper...

I love the room it has and that it has the pouch for cables and such. I love also how the inside bottom is made to have Velcro stick to it and man it does! Holds everything in place fantastic. Came with enough Velcro to do the job and then some. Great item.

I am a truck driver and just tinker some on guitar. This is perfect for what I needed. If you just need something cheap to keep your pedals from being scattered around this is perfect. If you are a pro or gigging then you probably wouldn't be looking at this anyway.

Comments about Road Runner Pedalboard All-In-1 Gig Bag:

this is by far the best pedalborad for the price. its well made-from the case itself down to the straps and zippers. it holds 8 boss sized pedals plus a wah with minimal effort. like with any other purchase you need to know what it is versus what it is not. it is an entry level pedalboard case so it does not have a powersupply or a nifty tray that lifts out holding all your pedals. the case itself holds the pedals (and does it well i might add) i would have easily given 5 stars if it had a tray. my only concern is how it would hold up night after night, gig after gig. overall, this is a wonderful case and i highly recommend it

Comments about Road Runner Pedalboard All-In-1 Gig Bag:

This is a great value for the price. The materials and construction appear solid and durable, and the pedals are well protected when zipped up. The outside pocket is also a plus for carrying extra cables and misc - with one caveat. The only negative for me is this pocket is located on the top, and when that is folded under it will create a problem if anything is in the pocket. The alternative would be to not fold it under, but that would take up a lot of floor space.
That nit picky negative aside, it is a surprisingly well made item for the price.

Comments about Road Runner Pedalboard All-In-1 Gig Bag:

If you are looking at this, you are probably pricing cheap pedalboards. I know because I have been there for a while. I think this is the best 'no board' pedalboard out there right now.

The main competition for this product is the Electro-Harmonix bag. This Road Runner product is better in almost every way. The shape is much better. The EHX bag is long and narrow. Pedals tend to flop the bag left-to-right. Also, the zipper on the EHX bag sux compared to this one. It is hard to use, and the double zipper on this bag is far superior. They both have pretty good Velcro, but I think the RR bag edges it out.

The other competition for this bag is a small bag with an actual board in it. Gator has one. Diago has the Commuter. ModTone has something pretty good. It will be up to you if you HAVE to have a board. I think it is not really necessary. I have been upgrading my pedalboards to ones with actual boards in them. It is nice, for sure, but it is not absolutely necessary if you are on a budget. Maybe if you really use the pedal switches a lot or you want a solid surface to use an expression pedal on, it could be worth it to get a board board.

Mostly, this is the 2nd one of these I bought, and I went back to the RR All-in-one because it is a superior bag. This one will house the pedals that go with my microphone. I won't do any hot switching on the mic, so I figured another one of these bags would suit. The other has been my bass bag for a while. The EHX is getting purged and maybe sold. I have a Diago Commuter for my 'short board' for guitar, and that is excellent, but also a big price upgrade.

I got this for my son a few years ago and it has held up well. The strap makes it easy to carry.

The biggest downside which has been mentioned by others is that when folded over, it gives a springy almost pillow-like base for the pedals. I solved this by cutting a piece of plywood covered with felt as in insert. This greatly improved the situation.

My son stopped using this bag because he became... a PEDAL FIEND !!?!!

I wound up making him a custom pedal board to satisfy his addiction.

This bag has found a great second use. He uses it to transport his microKorg which fits perfectly and the front pouch has enough room to hold the cables and power supply.
