The Rampage Bass 10 works very well as a discreet practice amp in small rooms. I can use it in the bedroom with my acoustic-electric bass or in the living room with my Jazz bass, and my wife doesn't trip over it or complain about the volume. It experiences distortion over 3/4 volume, but I didn't buy it with the idea of pegging it anyway. Small footprint, decent performance, inexpensive - not a bad deal!

I bought this amp to help out a kid who is learning bass. When listening through headphones the unit sounds very good. I mean VERY good. But through the speaker it breaks up very easily. Recently I bought an Acoustic B20 and an Ampeg 25 watt amp. And for the $30.00 more you get a monsterious difference. So long term I think The Rampage is a waste of money. And if you must have an amp in this price range, I would look for something else.

Got this amp to play while vegging about. It has great sound for a little guy and the rock-back design is very handy. Would prefer just to have controls and inputs on top of the cabinet, but the rock-back also 'aims' the sound upward a bit. Terrific little amp for the money.

I got this as my first bass amp for my Dean Zone XM bass. This amp is great sounding. It isn't all that loud, but it's only a 10 watt. You can't expect it to be that loud. But, if you want a cheap practice bass amp, this is it.
