The Rocktron V80R Vendetta is a combo guitar amp that offers 2 channel operation (clean and distortion) with separate Master Volume controls for both channels. The Clean Channel features include Active EQ (Bass, Mid, Treble) and Level Control (Master Clean Volume). The Distortion Channel features include 12AX7 Tube Distortion Engine (T.D.E.), and Active EQ (Bottom, Scoop-Mid Range Sweep, and Top).
Rocktron's exclusive user-adjustable AGX™ Gate Threshold (great for heavy percussive playing) provides amazing noise reduction technology.
Another Rocktron exclusive: Global Amplifier Voicing with P.D.F. (Post Dynamic Filtering) allows global control over the amplifier's final EQ curve, letting you dial in a perfect sound when playing in different rooms or venues. Trim-pot controls allow you to custom tailor your sound just the way you like it, including Reactance (low response resonance), Contour (Mid range definition), and Presence (Upper range limit).
The Vendetta V80R includes effects loop, left and right preamp output jacks and a headphone output jack, plus footswitchable reverb and built-in chromatic guitar tuner. The lighted Rocktron logo looks great onstage!

My Rocktron V80R may have had a defect in the lead ch. circuit. My Les Paul sounded like it was running through a wah, half-cocked. With as many EQ adjustments as this amp has, you'd think I could dial in a good tone, but I couldn't get the wah sound out. Even my band agreed, it sounded terrible. The distortion was below average, too. Very little difference in gain settings of the preamp.The clean channel was very good and powerful. The reverb was adequte but weak (<5+ to even tell it's on).I think it should have a mute switch for the tuner instead of an on/off.I sent the unit back. I think I'll save up for a Trademark 60. You get what you pay for, in this case.If they improve the distortion and get the EQ right, this could be a top amp for the money.

I needed a small but loud amp and Rocktron V80R Vendetta 80w 1x12 Combo Amp is a very good middle range amp. The demo on the internet is precisely the way this amp sounds. So you can go from crunch to sweet clean with the touch of one button. It is also very simple to adjust. I am very pleased with this amp and I believe I will be getting their high end Rocktron Vendetta Series 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head and Black, Slant, Front Rocktron Vendetta Series V412 240W 4x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet with Celestion and Eminence Speakers cabinet next year.
