A holy grail of monster tube amps!
The Rocktron Vendetta 100W Tube Guitar Amp is a loud, proud rock and roll amp head with the versatility needed for today's modern players. With its 4 channels, each with separate gain and master controls and bright switches, the Vendetta amp head may be the most versatile tube amp ever produced. These Rocktron amps let you go from edgy mod rock to screaming, over-the-top" heavy metal and hard rock sounds.
The Rocktron Vendetta generates 100W of tube power into 4, 8 and 16 ohms. EL34 power tubes are the choice here, and to make life easier on the road Rocktron has included external bias test points and adjustments.
With its two sets of "British" style tone controls with a special voicing switch for Vintage or Modern sounds, you'll be hard pressed to find an amp that delivers more. Master, Presence and Density controls add to the sonic party.
Designer Bruce Egnater has thought of everything, and to make life easier, the Rocktron Vendetta features MIDI controlled channel switching. Nothing too complicated, just enough to give you that extra control. Rounding out the features are separate series and parallel effects loops and a mix control for the parallel loop.
This is the a groudbreaking tube amplifier for the new age. The Vendetta 100W Tube Head delivers the goods whether you're looking for a pop tone, a blues crunch, screaming raunch, or a scorching thud. We defy you to find a chunkier amp that delivers this much throttle and raunch.

- Was this a gift?:
This head is really something else. It is probably THE MOST versatile amp I've ever used or heard. It has 4 channels, all with a distinct sound, starting from perfect clean, smooth and gritty, dirty british tube, and then lastly to modern hi-gain. The bright switches and the modeling switches can really help define any tone you want. Any type of sound can easily be dialed in with ease. The quality is great as well. I'm getting a road case for it, but I'm not worried at all about it failing on me. It's heavy but that's what you pay for to get good sound. This amp is a very well kept secret and is designed by Bruce Egnater, which is very easy to see once you play it. I don't think I'll ever get a new amp.
I've had one for a year and a half. It's pretty sweet. 4 channels, midi switchable, lots of tones. NO REVERB, which would be nice to have, but series and parallel loops, so get a good effects unit and you're set. It really does classic and modern rock very well. Lots of variations and stages of gain. Cleans are not quite Twinville but still very nice, especially for a high gain head. Channel 2 is impressive, anything from pushed cleans to breaking up plexi. 3 and 4 are a mean and meaner kind of hot-rodded Marshall feel, with 4 sounding a little more scooped but not at all sterile. I like it with 6L6's for that kind of tone - very good. This is not quite in the league of boutique amps when it comes to sound quality, but honestly, it's not far behind. If you've got 4 G's to spend on amps, you're not looking at this one anyway. Want flexibility and versatility with great tone? This one's a good way to go.
