It's a good beginner amp. Starting with the cons, the overdrive knob fell off out of the blue, after about a month of use, if you turn the mid eq knob up past 5, a horrible hissing noise comes out of the amp, and the distorion to the ear of anyone but a beginner sounds suckish. The pros, this amp can get pretty loud, like really loud, it's very well made for an amp that cost 30 greenbacks, and it helps you learn the basics of the electric guitar amp world pretty well. I got mine for christmas, when i got my first tele, it's good for what it is, but i ended up buying a Orange Crush after about two and half months of use.

I got this amp with the Rogue Rocketeer Pack. It worked fine for a while, although I wanted something more. The distortion, if you want good distortion, buy a pedal. The clean channel was great for a while, but now if I use it it switches in and out of distortion intermittently, kind of annoying. I couldn't 5 star the value, you get what you pay for, but I did 4.5 star it. Hey it's cheap and will get you by for a short time.I've played this amp with my Rogue (GFS Crunchy PAF and stock single coils) and my knock off Tele (bone stock weak pickups).

This amp has the worst overdrive I've ever heard, and I listen to punk. The clean (if you want to call it that) is ok, but nothing special. The only good thing about it is that it's loud. If you're truly broke, only play on clean, and don't care if your amp falls apart at the touch, buy this amp. If not, skip it and go on.

Let Down

First of all I know that this is a cheap priced amp so I was not expecting much in the first place. However, I have now owned this little guy for about two months and it just stopped working. I have not played it hard or dropped it. I was just practicing and all of the sudden, I smelt burning wires. The amp cut out and I unplugged from the wall. The amp does not work anymore and a danger in my house. Before this, I would say that it was not a bad amp, it had an o.k. sound to it.

Great bang for your buck

You get what you pay for, true, and this little unit follows; small, nothing fancy, no bells and whistles. But, if you're looking for a nice wallop that won't kill your pocketbook look no further. Nice tone through all ranges, and the overdrive gives a killer British fuzz (as long as you don't over crank it too much...). If you're looking for something to play in a club, forget it, but for practice and ease of moving, this is it. Very light, and looks cool in an old school fashion. Highly recommended.

Yeah, I know, you get what you pay for but I would expect it to stay in one piece for more than a day. It came with a hole in it, not the manufacturers fault, but it sure didn't help with first impressions. The overdrive is a decent feature but it buzzes pretty bad. The overdrive button popped off the first time I used it. The gain knob doesn't appear to be hooked up cuz it doesn't do anything. Overall, I with I'd have just spent the extra green and gotten something better.

Excellent lil' beast.

Let's be honest a lot of people leave unfair reviews when taking into consideration the price. So that being said, for the price and what it's for you can't beat it. NO, you're not going to gig with it. If you thought you could, sell your equipment and quit now. :) It has a solid clean tone. Drive channel is a little week but distortion is to taste. (buy a dist pedal) Excellent volume response and nice features. Nice little practice/beginners amp.

It was what I was looking for

I just got mine last night so I can't say much in terms of long term performance but after messing with it over night and early this morning I can say it was exactly what I wanted I can produce the tones I want fairly easy, but to be fair I'm not looking for very intricate tones. It just works for what I need it for.
