I needed a second distortion pedal so I thought ?why not?? It is very inexpensive but works pretty good. None of my buddies could tell I was not using my usual expensive pedal till I told them and they want to order a few for backups. These sales are great and I only had one problem with a Rogue product and it was exchanged without any problems. If you need a good pedal but are afraid, don?t worry, it works great and I get no bad noise either. I?m not a metal head but for what I need it for it is perfect.

I got this second-hand from a friend when I first started playing guitar. I think they've changed it aesthetically, because one of the tops to my knobs came off, but it doesn't look like it has tops anymore. Anyways, this pedal is really simple: volume, tone, and gain. So, turn the gain all the way up, turn the tone to about 1 or 2 o'clock, and adjust the volume accordingly. you might want to turn the bass up on your amp, as this pedal lacks that once you turn the tone up to get a decent sound. But for a beginner pedal it works decently well to play around with at home. I would never play a show or anything with it, I care about tone too much. If you have ANY extra money, or if not save up, and buy a Zoom or a Boss. Better yet, just buy an amp you won't have to use a stomp pedal with...

This pedal's pretty cool. It isn't the best in the world but it's definately one of the better ones. The battery only lasts about 4 hours and the battery case can be a pain to get off but overall it's a good pedal.

This pedal is pretty decent, I've had it for a year and we use it in my punk band. It's good for the price. It's only really worth buying if you have like a giftcard and have an extra couple bucks and can't get anything else. Or if your a novice its really good.

Fat Fat Fat Bass Distortion

By Anonymous

from Undisclosed

I but plugged it in to my bass and loved it. It gives out a much fatter bass distortion than any of my other straight distortion pedals, and adds a bluesy tube sound to higher notes. The only downside is the cheap construction. Still new, so I don't know how it will hold up. If if breaks I will transfer the guts to a custom stomp box. This was a great steal.

nice guitar pedal, had it for a couple years and it still works great. I was in a band 2 years ago and i needed more volume and distortion, and this pedal did the trick for a good price. at the time i was only using a 30 watt crate.

Do you really need to save the few dollars?

By dontemailme

This is a pedal that is cheaply made, so it can be cheaply sold. If you're getting a present for a child and you want to live the rest of their life with low expectations for guitar sounds, GET THEM THIS! It's weak. Sorry, the Rogue bass guitar is great, but stay out of the pedals. Like I said a few bucks more and you can get something good.

you get what you pay for.

I got this two years ago, and played it for five minutes, then put it back in the box and threw it in my closet. I brought it out today to try it on some different amps, and even after 30 minutes of tone tweaking with it, it still doesn't sound right. the harder you play it, the less response you get...def. not good.Battery cover was super hard to get off, and the battery itself will only last you about 4 hours.Do NOT buy this pedal. spend 20 more bucks or so and buy a better one.

Damn good for the price!

I've owned this pedal for a month now. It sounds as good as a higher price pedal. Never had any problems besides having to change out the battery once. This pedal put out great distortion and really makes my old P.O.S. amp sound even bigger and better. For all of those who said this pedal sucks, it's a distortion pedal, not a tool to make you play better. I've never had any problems with Rogue products and you can't beat the price. I only wish the case was metal that's why I gave it a 9.
