Comments about SKB FootNote Amplified Pedalboard:

This is my first pedal board so I bought it thinking how great it would be to have all these features in one:

Power cords
Speaker
Amp for powering another cab.
In for MP3

I mean, I couldn't think of anything missing (mine came with Gig Bag too). When it arrived 1 of the power cords for a pedal didn't work but SKB sent a replacement right away. Other than that, it's worked perfectly the entire time. Do I love it though? Nope. The biggest fault I have with it is a big fault. There is no pass through to route cables underneath from pedal to pedal. They make it look nice and neat in the picture above but notice how they only have 7 pedals pictured even though it powers 8. Even with their configuration above there is really no way to squeeze an 8th pedal in there without a cord mess. However, they also chose a few pedals that had input/output located on top and some on sides for the picture. All my pedals (like the OCD pictured) have their inputs on each side and power on the side too. Try and get that cable mess sorted out without pulling power out of one of the others or a pedal cable out. I'm constantly reaching down and checking cords to make sure one hasn't come out. Admittedly, there is space underneath and I haven't looked at the option of just cutting out some holes myself. The sturdiness of the plastic board may come into play if I start cutting 8 small 1/2" diameter circles in the board that can accommodate cords. Really, if the power cords alone could have been run underneath this alone would free up enough space on top to really improve this board. Finally, a hard case option would be nice. For the price I don't expect it to be free but an option would be great.

Comments about SKB FootNote Amplified Pedalboard:

Got this as a "Good Condition #2" used item. Other than some minor signs of opening of the box, this pedal board came in mint condition. Velcro and power connector cables were brand new and no scuffs, etc. on the board. As to the item itself, it's a great buy for a powered pedal board. Has 8 9v adaptor inputs and a built-in amp with a small speaker which I use as a practice amp and monitor. Don't expect to play heavy metal distortion thru this little speaker, but it does the job for low level work. Seems to be well built and sturdy even though it's basically plastic.

Comments about SKB FootNote Amplified Pedalboard:

I've had this pedalboard for awhile now and everything is working good. It's nice and quiet and "Made In America" (Which was a surprise ! )It has the cords to power up 8 pedals 9v. I don't have pedals that are other voltages...so it's fine..Really like the little 6w amp. I plugged it into an 8 ohm 12 celeston , then the line out to my Egnater , turned it to 3 or 4 and it keeps up with my loud drummer.Nice to run 2 amps. Tone controls are easy to adjust.SKB says you can power up to a 4-12 cabinet (It might do it!)as long as the speakers are 4-8 or 16 ohms .I like having that built-in cord tester , and whats real handy is the MP3 plug-in..It's easy to practice along with my tunes. The unit seems fairly heavy duty...I've had no issue with any flimsiness..I would have givin' it a 5 if it had come with a case.I don't work for SKB or any their associates...I'm just an old ex-pro with a small studio here in Alaska. But this is a cool pedalboard. I like it.
