Great board

| Review By: Christopher Hess | 1 month, 3 weeks ago

Features:

Couldn't be more satisfied with this board. super duarble, and plenty of room for all the pedals i use. built in power supply is probably the best part. comes with adapter cables for pedals and velcro to keep them in place.

Quality:

Super duarable. lifetime warranty. nuff said.

Value:

a bit exspensive, but you cant beat how well made they are, and the built in power supply. totally worth the money.

Overall:

if your looking for a pedal board, and you have the money, buy this board. you won't be dissapointed. i do a lot of gigging and for the ammount of pedals i use the size is great. this things gets tossed around quite a bit and still rocks. look no more this is the right product.

Bargain - get one while you can!

Features:

Very nice & has good instructions.  Only complaint if any, is no power switch.  So, the whole thing powers up when you plug it in.

Nice little DC cables incl to save buying batteries all the time.  One cable goes to the 9V battery port inside a stomp box - in case there's no DC plug on that pedal - only one of these - the other 8 are normal DC cables that plug into yout stomp boxes.  Velcro strip also included, if you want to hold things in place.

You can go out into two amps and also have stereo effects loop going in the background outside your pedal chain.

Quality:

Some reviewer said it had a weak floor - it does not.  It's a solid place to stomp.  The whole systrem is built very nicely - VERY RUGGED!

Value:

This is worth well more than it's listed for.  Get one while you can!  SKB never let me down yet!

Overall:

Should have boult this years ago.  Go big, so you can add pedals.  Better investment that way.

Actually I bought this pedalboard for my son who has been out on the ~Hard Way Musical Road~

most of the last three years... I know it's a hassle sometimes when your out there, whether it be time constraints at venues, or just hauling in the gear. Here is where the PS-45 is the answer. You can buy a pretty nice suitcase to haul your stomp boxes, and pedals at Good Will, or Salvation Army, or put it all together in a nice neat near indestructable powered pedalboard. I've seen the PS-45, and have been told buy some great guitarist that it's the Best thing going right now.

Best choice for large footprint powered pedal board!

| Review By: Rejyna-7R8D1 | 7 months, 1 week ago

6 people out of 6 found this review helpful

Features:

I compared all the options for pedal boards and chose the SKB PS-45 because of these reasons:

1. I own other SKB products and love their quality, warranty and forward-thinking designs

2. I needed as large an area as I could get that also allows the pedals to stay connected and in place for extremely quick on and off stage situations.

3. I wanted to eliminate my power cord mess

4. I wanted i/o options for various configurations and uses

The PS-45 is an excellent pedalboard.  It is heavy even when no pedals are in it, it is large (should probably have some luggage-type wheels on one corner, imo)  The latches are solid, the handle seems adequate but with the warranty, if anything breaks, SKB will take care of it.  When I have it full of pedals, it is very heavy for this 145 lb, 5'7" female.  Regardless, due to the ease of setup/teardown and relief from anxiety that a cable or pedal would be left behind or taken from the stage, I will lug this monster around with a smile on my face.  Make sure you buy some right angle cables...or do what I did, buy the 1/4" right angle adapters if you already have all your cables...

Quality:

Simply cannot beat SKB for design, durabilty and function.  I rarely even consider other brands.  Hinges and latches are solid, velcro is durable and they include velcro for your pedals and power cables.

Value:

The price equals the quality and the warranty, it equals the benefits and functions.  Good value?  Yes!

Overall:

If you need a large pedalboard with a hardshell case, cover, power and input/output panel - this is the one to get.  All the other positive reviews this case has online is backup for my positive review.

I use it at every show i play at.     I have 13 pedals on it and they all fit perfectly without a problem. I am very glad that I bought this.     The lifetime warrenty also won me over. If anything goes wrong, you can just send it back in.     The pedals I have on it are a route 66, ernie ball volume, cry baby, ds-1, os-2, boss chorus, ibanez tube screamer, line 6 dl4, marshall jcm 2000 dsl amp switch, mesa boogie triple rectifier amp switch, quad box, garage tone delay, boss dd-7.         I also run a boss gt-10 by itself to the side of the board.     It's not like that really needs to be on a pedal board anyway.     It does the job and has never caused me any problems!

Who can argue with a build in power system that not only powers you pedals, but lines out to your amps?

Only thing that bothers me is how weak the floor of it is when stepped on.

Worth every penny spent.     I had a trailer trash board plus a voodoo power lab.     This is easy on the wallet and is just as good.
