The SKB Stagefive Pedalboard is a management system for your guitar effects pedals that offers you filtered, regulated power and short-circuit protection. You also get the ability to handle either 115 or 230 VAC.
(2) 1.3 amp VAC jacks for powering pedals from Digitech and Line 6, etc
(2) variable DC jacks to allow any voltage from 4-12 volts, simulate and "almost" dead battery
(4) standard 9 VDC jacks for Boss, Electro-Harmonix, etc
(1) 18 VDC jack for MXR EVH Flanger, etc
(2) 24 VDC jack for boutique and vintage pedals
(2) 9/12 VDC jacks to accommodate additional boutique and vintage pedals.
All DC jacks have polarity switches so center negative or center positive is not a problem with the SKB-PS-55 Stagefive Professional Pedalboard. The power is filtered, regulated and short circuit protected with a detachable main power cord with a 115/230 VAC power supply so you can travel internationally with no problems. And the Stagefive Professional Pedalboard is covered by the SKB Million Mile Guaranty on the case and five year warranty on the electronics.

The premise behind this pedal board is a good idea. Lots of routing options, multi-voltage power outputs, extra features like a headphone amp and cable tester, etc. Though relatively lightweight, the board itself seems pretty durable. However, it just doesn't quite deliver. Mine arrived with a dead power output and the preamp broken. While the effects loops work, I'm always having problems with random hums and what may be some sort of loose connection. Even with all of the options, it can't power any of my TC Electronic, Eventide, or Electro-Harmonix pedals. Because of the holes in the velcro, smaller pedals sometimes don't stick very well. Bottom line: nice idea, but poor execution. Look elsewhere.

the first day that I bought this, one the 12V outputs (the line 6 ports) didn't work. It's physical design and girth is awkward and unnecessarily overbearing. I took it back the next day and just went for the Furman. When in doubt go Furman. Ironically, the previous model of the SKB was actually pretty solid.

Fits my rig quite nicely. It involves a Line 6 DD-4 and a Whammy, which use AC power (it was great to ditch the huge AC boxes they used), EHX and Boss pedals, which use 9VDC and my amp's footswitch. The power section is quite versatile, allow you to flip the DC's polarity. it also organizes my rig really nicely, accomodates my footswitch and FX loop. The pre-amp and cable tester are also nice to have, I use them occasionally. BUT, it's really annoying how sometimes, for no apparent reason, it hums a LOT. Sometimes there will be really loud noise, as if something's badly connected. It'll be like this for days, then suddenly it's back to normal. I really like it, but it's really annoying.

This thing pretends to be the ultimate answer to all your pedal needs. It's not. Despite the fact that the advertised picture of it has Electro Harmonix pedals, mine do not like this pedal board. My POG, while it will turn on, doesn't get enough juice to work. Which is weird. As other reviews have mentioned, the Holy Grail doesn't work either. The variable power switch is a little white plastic screw which, after the pressure required to turn it was applied, fell into the pedal board. GREAT. Nice construction guys. The power chord itself didn't fit (had to use another) and it doesn't have any outlets for any other needs. Which is annoying, considering that my POG could have been powered by its normal adapter. All should look elsewhere. Do not buy.

I purchased this a few months ago and have been using it as my main pedalboard for all my gigs. The good: it's SKB. Solid, rugged and looks good.The bad: It does not have a power supply for the Holy Grail, as mentioned in another review. The one included will cause the HG to squeal. The power supply is huge and bulky. Since it's around the handle area when the case lid is on, it makes it top heavy and I have a hard time keeping it from falling over when it's sitting upright. The velcro doesn't always keep your pedals in place and once I opened it after a trip in the car to find all my pedals in a heap.There's not enough room on the board either.Also, the latch anchor rivets are easily torn loose and I had to re rivet one of them to keep the latch on!Sorry SKB, but you could have done better.

Purchased this about a year ago and thought it would be awesome! First problem was it jacked up my EH Holy Grail. I called SKB and they said they didn't not make a power input with enough MA's to power some EH stuff. The Buffer on the board was a good idea, but after a little use realized it was messing up the signal more than it helped. It's good if you use CHEAP gear. Now a year later the patch bay on my SKB is going out. Actually It has been messing up since I got it with a static sound and now has completely gone out. So now all I have is a glorified power supply with no outlets. YEAH! A little help SKB. Just called SKB to see what they will do. If you buy, Good Luck!

Ruined my EH Holy Grail too. AHAH.. The board has rediculous things like a cable tester but doesn't have any outlets?! There are pedals that this board can't power (like my POG). It does hide the cables nice though. If you have a bunch of Boss 9 volt pedals and a crybaby get it. If need atleast 1 outlet dont

I purchased this pedal board about a year ago, upon setting my pedals up the way I like them I found that my electro harmonix holy grail pedal would cut out and give this terrible static sound. I tried everything to get it to stop trying several of the voltage plugs and changing them to no avail. I pulled out my old voodoo labs pedal power. No more problems. All in all it has alot of great features but functionality is lacking

One word nice. This prduct has it all. The only thing wrong, in my opion, is this,the 4 to 12 varible outputs don't have #'s to show what you set them for. I had to use a volt ohm meter to set them at the output needed other than that, Whoo Hoo! This is it. You'll never need to up grade. Buy it.

At first I saw it and said "what am I going to do with all that room for pedals got to get more of them" lol, this pedalboard is very well built, the room under the pedals, allows you to have a clean pedalboard. But the best part..the 2 complete loops! I can decide wich amp to use (or both) just by having an "switch". The price you pay for this is fair...you pay high..for a high end pedalboard!
