Comments about Soldano Hot Rod 100 Avenger 100W Tube Guitar Amp Head:
This head is by far the best head I've ever come across. Most botique amps sound like either a revamped Marshall or Fender with better components. The Avenger has is a straight ahead single channel 100 watt head with the same sound and head room as the SLO. It's a great high gain head, not too fuzzy, and a great rock overdrive that sounds different then all the Marshall wannabes out there. Add to that the depth control for superb lows, and you've got a great guitar head with enough lows to rival Mesa Rectifier amps. Then there's the price; these are priced in the same range as a Marshall, and are all hand made boutique. If you ever get a chance to try one, do yourself a favor and do so, you won't be disappointed.
