Comments about Sonic Edge Tumbleweed Clean Boost/Compression Guitar Effects Pedal:
During intros and clean solos brings the guitar forward to the front row. Not just in live situations, but in the studio. In the olden days I would use devices such as the BB Sonic Maximizer for a similar effect, but the Tumbleweed is SO much more useful, and much, much, much more flexible. I've given it to guitarists to use when I've been producing, and it sounds as if I had just raised a "talent" slider on the soundboard. The guitarist's solos and chording need hardly (and usually zero) EQ'ing, or any other "fixing" of their sound in the mix.Don't tell the guys at Sonic Edge, but using the Tumbleweed "wrong" makes for some fantastic sound FX applications. No, I'm not going to reveal those settings ;) but as with any good pedal, you will easily find your favorite settings. Take it from there, to infinity....
