The SWR golight Junior 400W 2x10 bass speaker cabinet features 400W handling, custom SWR neodymium speakers, horn tweeter with attenuator, Speakon and 1/4" speaker jacks, as well as side handles, vibration-free shock-mounted grille, and front slot port. The SWR Goliath bass speakers created the modern standard for bass instrument sound reproduction. Now the same painstaking attention to detail has been applied to SWR's line of professional neodymium speaker enclosures—the golight series. These high-quality, lightweight enclosures are the result of a painstaking process in which every component of the SWR Goliath series was evaluated and, whenever possible, a lightweight high-performance component was selected for use in our golight enclosures.

Ultra light weight, beautiful tone, loud, and perfectly dimensioned. I couldn't ask for more.
After looking at the Eden, Mark Bass, Ampeg, and Aguilar lightweight cabs, I settled on this little gem. I've been playing bass for 30+ years and cannot take hauling heavy rigs anymore. Yea, I sacrifice a little bit of ultra low end, but it does not matter. This puppy is loud, musical, and light (38 lbs.) It cuts through in practice or on stage. I pair it with my Eden WTX500 (4.3 lbs). I use a second custom 2-10 cab (Celestion Neo's) (42 lbs) for bigger venues. The SWR, my second 2-10 cab both fit in the truck of my wife's Jetta. Of course, it's pricey. SWR did this right.
The cab is solid. The swing out handles are heavy-duty and allow you to carry the cabinet from just about any angle. Plenty of Speakon and 1/4" connectors.
There are lower priced 2-10 cabs out there that sound just as good. But NONE in the 38 pound range period! Again weight to sound ratio was my main shopping point.
If you think you need a 4 ohm cab in this size, you would be better off with Mark Bass Traveler.
