OVERVIEW

The first PolyTune Noir raised the bar for how ¼ber-cool a tuner could be with its compact design and sleek black look. The PolyTune 2 Noir is here to rock pedal boards around the world once again. Featuring a super-bright display, an insanely accurate strobe tuner, and a groundbreaking polyphonic tuning mode, you get the most innovative tuning technology all packed in a tiny enclosure with the coolest color of all ... black. Tuning has simply never been more rock 'n' roll.

Attuned to Your Board
Staying in tune is without any doubt the most important thing in music, but that doesn't mean that a tuner should take up valuable space on your pedal board. With PolyTune 2 Noir you don't just get a small tuner, you get the smallest polyphonic tuner in the world. So besides getting a super fast and precise tuner, you also get more room for more gear. It's the pedal that just keeps on giving.

Guided by the Light
As if cramming TC Electronic's award-winning PolyTune technology into this tiny enclosure wasn't enough, they've also managed to cram 109 ultra-bright LEDs into a miniature display to make sure that no matter what the situation you will get an instant and clear readout on whether you're in tune or not. And you know what that means ¦ less time tuning, more time rockin'.

Pocket-sized Precision

By transferring their ultra-precise chromatic strobe tuner from the Polytune 2 to this highly compact enclosure, you get +/- 0.1 cent of tuning accuracy. So whether you just need a quick tune-up on stage or want to setup your intonation with incredible precision, Polytune 2 Noir has you covered.

I have used headstock tuners in the past, this is my first pedal. So far a pleasant experience. I like this unit shows all strings at once.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

I have a Boss TU-2 (old) that I have been using but it would not work from the volume pedal. Purchased based on a recommendation. Works great. Doesn't have to be open strings on the bass to tune. Allows me to tune with me hand on the neck as if I was playing getting rid of the slight sharp from neck pul. Wonderful product.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

This is my first tuner pedal and probably my last. It's well made and quite compact. The display is crisp and bright. I love how it automatically adjusts to the lighting situation. It's great for someone with a small/crowded pedal board. So many settings preprogrammed into it. TC makes really great quality products and this is proof. I love it! It's pretty easy to use too. Well worth the price.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

A nice, compact tuner with a good, bright display. The PolyTune feature is a bit disappointing, as it is not very accurate, but the new strobe mode has good accuracy and overall I like this pedal so far (I've only had it a few weeks). My Sonic Research ST-200 tuner is still the BEST, but for ultra tight spaces this one is a nice alternative.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

I think this pedal is great because I have tried other pedals and tuners, and found myself somewhat confused with them. This pedal is simple and straight up to the point. Other tuners I have used usually have a problem getting the needle in place, it goes all over the place as if it did not know what to do, which confuses me. This pedal on the other hand seems to get it quick. I love the look, and the light it produces while tuning; you just can not miss it.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

I think clip-on tuners look stupid on headstocks (like a little satellite-dish; maybe you're not even playing live!), and this is the pedalboard alternative to them. It's the tiniest tuner you can put on a p-board, but really easy to see. The most amazing feature is the 'POLY' part: turn it on (it mutes your signal), strum, and it indicates which strings are high, and which are flat...then tune just those strings. No more 'chasing' which one might be out. I place mine in the 'tuner out' jack on my volume pedal, and leave it on while I play. I made the other guitarist in my band buy my first one of these, and got another for myself. I've had mine about a year, now, and it's still doing fine (unlike various other TC pedals I've owned, which have tended to die sudden, premature deaths). I hope this helps you decide if this is the tuner for you.

Comments about TC Electronic Polytune Noir Mini 2 Pedal Tuner:

This tuner is great! I upgraded to this from a sturdy Boss TU-2 that I'd been using for a decade, and it is so small it's startling! The LEDs are very bright, much more so than the Boss, and it is plenty accurate, particularly when tuning individual strings. I'm not big on the polyphonic mode yet, but I can see where that would be helpful during live performances when you need to check your tuning quickly between songs. I was torn between this and the Korg Pitchblack, but this is so small and has so many great features, I went with this and I'm glad I did. The Korg would be a great purchase as well from what I've seen, but this was smaller and better for what I needed. A great purchase if you need a small dependable tuner pedal.
