i bought this foot pedal with the amp and cab that goes along with it. if you decide to buy the amp (which you should) buy this pedal. the mute switch is great for switching instruments and taking breaks. and the 3 switch option is perfect for playing different styles. and the tuner is the thing i really love about it. its perfect for maintaining accuracy with a fretless and is good for harmonics quick tuning changes and even to double check you are playing in key. all and all this is a great product and you should go with the tc electronics bass package.
