OVERVIEW

Unique vertical stacking design that sounds fantastic.

Use the TC Electronic RS212 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet to upgrade your onstage sound. One of Its 2- 12" custom Eminence drivers has a centered or coaxially placed tweeter with attenuation control. By positioning a single speaker on its end so that the speaker with the tweeter is on top, or by stacking two RS 212 bass cabs vertically, you get both accentuated bass from contact with the floor, and tonal clarity by having the woofer/tweeter combo speaker closer to ear level.

The RS 212 bass speaker cabinet's road-worthy enclosure is made of 18mm side panels with rounded hardwood corners. Anti-skid, anti-scratch finish. Large, recessed handles. Strong steel grille.

Comments about TC Electronic RS212 2x12 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet:

Put one of these under an RS210 cabinet, power them both with the Staccato 51 head and you have my rig.

Great sound! Flexible for anything I need. Handles the low B string really well with clarity and definition. IOW, lots of clean bottom without any "mush" to it.

In my 47 years playing bass, this is the best rig I've ever worked with.

Comments about TC Electronic RS212 2x12 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet:

The RS212 has been working great for me since I got it. When my complete rig is set up, I've got it paired with an RS210, and I've been pleased both in the rehearsal/studio setting (by itself), as well as in live performances (in tandem with the other cab). It's relatively lightweight and easy to transport, and I like that I can stack the cabinets together. I haven't used a ton of bass cabinets but I haven't experienced any overly unpleasant booming that some complain of with the 212 vs the 210. Certainly nothing that I couldn't adjust to my liking with the amp's EQ or other tone shaping tools at my disposal. I use it with a RH450 and connect with Neutrik Speakon cables. Does fine with my bass as well as other sources I've fed through via the amp's effects loop (e.g., drum machine, backing tracks). I'd get it again.

Comments about TC Electronic RS212 2x12 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet:

Full, deep sound from the 2x12 while not being muddy. The adjustable tweeter fills in the rest of the sound spectrum to get the tone you want. Sounds great with my Stingray and Ric.

Comments about TC Electronic RS212 2x12 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet:

The cabinet is as advertised. Sound is tight with lots of volume room. This cab is teamed with RH450 and enjoyed excellent performance at last gig. Tweeter function is good with adjustment to capture crisp high end tones. Cab is easily transported without herniating anything.

Comments about TC Electronic RS212 2x12 Vertical Stacking Bass Cabinet:

I play through a Carvin R1600 dual block amp and was using a 15" cab along with a 2 - 10" cab. There just wasn't a good full bottom end using those so I decided after a great deal of research to check out the TC 2 -12" cab. It has made a big difference in my sound and playing a 5-string bass tuned a half step down every note now sounds good where before the 10's would start crapping out. Now I'm thinking about replacing my 15 inch cab with the TC. I would also imagine the RS212 would be perfect for smaller gigs or for bands that don't have 2 guitars playing full Mesa Boogie stacks which I can now keep up with volume-wise on any stage.
