If you play guitar you need this pedal.It should be called eversomuchmoreso,because it makes everything sound better.in front of or after your effect chain,pushing an OD,by itself,it does it all.You can use it as a slight od to dirty up a clean channel for blues or garage rock,push a dirty channel of an amp harder,use it as a clean boost for solos,or on all the time to brighten your overall sound.I have tried several applications and orders in my chain with this and love them all.This is 100 % a winner of a pedal,that you will be happy you own.I don't gig,just play and record at home for fun,but it would be even better for a guitarist playing out.

Like most players, I've found myself constantly searching for that perfect tone, never as satisfied as I'd like to be. And though I'm not proclaiming this to be some sort of Holy Grail, this pedal has opened up my tones in a huge way. Let me be more specific.

Simply stomp the box and you get a solid lead tone out of this bad boy. I keep the mid-boost on all the time, but the fat and clean settings are great as well. Tone shaping is incredibly simple; it's just a great sounding pedal and you'll have a sound you like in minutes. I use it on top of either a DS-1 or BD-2 depending on what kind of distortion the song calls for and it gives me a searing lead tone every time.

To put it simply, this is just a versatile, easy-to-use pedal, and best of all it sounds absolutely killer. It will give your distortion pedals depth, boost the hell out of your cleans, and give you the lead tone you need to cut through the mix. Bravo.

This is the best pedal in years!!! you put it in front of you tube amp... and your amp starts to sing as never before!! with the toggle switch and the eq knobs, basically you can change your amp to sound so different that you will think you have another amp!!

I have tried a few boosters looking for that edge when you need it, this one is great and has so much power that the level only stays at 11 oclock . It makes your clean channel sound great as well as searing leads when you kick it in on your lead channel. Great box highley recommend !

This pedal is extremely versatile. Goes from clean transparent boost in the clean mode to full on overdrive in the fat and/or mid mode. Very organic feel when used as overdrive that is very responsive. Excellent pedal!

I originally purchased a similar product: the Voodoo Labs Giggity boost pedal after some seeing some great demos online but when I received it just didn't do anythings for me. I decided to try the TC Spark Booster instead, and found that I loved the the EQ and mild drive available from this pedal much, much more. It may be a case of this pedal stacking better with my existing gear, but for me it's a much more versatile tool. The only thing I don't like is the white LED which is blinding.

This pedal does everything that it says it does! it boost my solos, and boosts my melodies. and anything else that i want to stand out from the mix. i play metal music in a cramp basement and my drummer crashes so loud and between the monitors and other guitars i need a hot knife to cut through some hot METAL butter. i love this pedal: great build, cool looks, durable, and solid. I've seen a lot of complaints about the WHITE indicator light BUT i really like it! its different and very bright, not a problem with it! I'm very excited that the spark booster is around its exactly what i needed on my board. its a must. buy it, love it, GO!

My newest always on pedal! It makes my clean channel usable. Boosts volume and tone to new levels, cuts through the mix so that I can play clean with just the right amount of mids, so could have named it The Razor! However, the overdrive channel on my amp tends to get glassy when I use it along with my OCD, I'm not sure that's a bad thing, but you don't want to be too shrill, so I'll have to set the level around 10 o'clock. Toggle switch remains on clean setting and gain at 12 o'clock. A good investment just for turning my clean channel into a high dollar boutique amp.

As I've been examining and searching for the boost pedal, I checked almost all the conventional pedals, read reviews... I saw this very recently released pedal by coincidence on web. Here is my review...

TC Electronics Spark Booster is a very nice boost pedal that actually does two things:

1. If you are playing both rythm and lead and if you are suffering for the lack of expression when switched to solo section, this is a great solo booster. I see that the whole 26dB spectrum is way much enough. I usually use it at 30%-40% boost behind an amp which is definitely strong enough for getting one step in the front. But that's not it. Since it has bass and treble knobs, you can differentiate the tone into a totally different pattern when you switch on to Spark Booster. That makes you possess a variety across rythm and solo. I believe that it is a a very important feature and it's unique among the other boost pedals which have a single boost knob.

2. Increasing the GAIN provides simple and fair overdrive. If you expect a strong rock overdrive it will not be sufficient. In that case, I recommend you to locate it after a seperate overdrive pedal in your effects loop. This pedal has fat, clean and mid tone coloring options. It's kinda like a set of predefined eq settings. Fat is nice but it provides a little extra hum. I use it mostly at its clean setting. Mid is somehow bright sounding. It can be used to express British type solos in my opinion.

Consequently, I think that Spark Booster is a very useful boost pedal which enhances your capabilities and does what it has to. The build quality is nice. It's not heavy but it's solid. The switch button is very steady up to now. I'd prefer if its LED would be a different color than the white one. It may be kinda like a little hard to notice when there are spots over you.
