The perfect combination of portability, power, and price!
The Landmark 60 incorporates the design features of the best-selling SansAmp Bass Driver DI pedal in a self-contained combo amp format. This portable, practical-sized amp provides professional-quality sound for practice, rehearsal, and club gigs. 100% analog tube amp emulation technology delivers all the natural warmth and presence of the most-recognized vintage and modern bass amp tones. Engineered for a smooth bass response without harsh peaks and valleys, the Landmark 60 can even handle the thunderous lows of a 5-string bass!
Notably responsive controls give you the flexibility to customize your own sounds: Drive adjusts the overall amount of gain and overdrive; Presence brings out the upper harmonic content and attack; and active Bass, Mid, and Treble controls cut or boost ±12dB. A unique Blend control allows you to dial in any amount of your direct instrument signal and combine it with the SansAmp circuitry. Plus, with Tech 21's SansAmp technology, this compact combo captures overdriven sounds normally associated with monster pro rigs and monolith racks - even at lower volumes!
The SansAmp XLR output is like having a built-in direct box. On live gigs, you can plug directly into the PA, and the audience will think you've got a megawatt bass amp hidden backstage. For recording, you can go direct to the board and capture the same sound you hear coming out of the speaker! The Landmark 60 also features an effects loop, headphone output, and 1/4" extension speaker output.
The cab features a chromeplated steel grille; houses a cast-frame, custom-designed 12" speaker; and is covered in heavy-duty black carpet.

Truly an awsome amp good for practice and when at performance just plug it into the PA system. It dial in tones like the geddy lee rickenbacker tone or foghat slow ride tone its all up to you! the tone selections are virtually endless with this amp! My only complaint is that when you turn up the amp with SansAmp blended it tends to produce a high pitch tone. Otherwise the best investment i've made so far!
I got this amp for christmas along with an LTD F-254. This combo is simply heaven. I can get a wide variety of sounds out of this amp, from Tool to almost a damn near Vic Wooten sound (the second step is getting as good as he is!). Did I mention that it's loud? Turning the knob past 9 o'clock rattles the walls of my house. I gave it a 9 in value, mainly for the fact that I think it could be a little cheaper. All in all, it's a very good amp. i have yet to use it in a gig, but I'm itching to try it in a live situation.
I can't say enough good things about Tech 21 in general. I can get a huge tone out of a small amp that is both portable and doesn't tork off the neighbors! Using a Fender Jazz Bass rewired for stereo (similar to a Rick 4003) the Landmark 60 picks up all my high end with all of the harmonics, peaks and valleys, and runs along side a SansAmp DI Pedal into a Cerwin Vega subwoofer for all of the low end. Both devices reproduce my tone perfectly! I've never been happier with how I sound! I will be buying a second one very soon!
