This is an awesome recording amp, capable of achieving an impressive array of tones that must be experienced to be appreciated. Not a modeler, not a tube amp, the Trademark 10 is some weird analog/transistor mutant that really nails a lot of the qualities of some fine amplifiers. With the DI out and headphones, you can record or practice in silence, and with the Celestion on, you can get some VERY tasty sounds at true bedroom levels. Wait until you hear what this does for a Telecaster! I HATE solid-state amps, but this thing rocks my little world. I'm excited every time I play it. USA made!

Great Amp, Sans light

By flyboy0

A beautiful little practice amp. Does just about any sound you want. Light burnt out within a week. The amp is a bit expensive, but I am VERY happy with it.

Best recording amp made--PERIOD!

By ZonerMan

The only weakness this amp has is the fact that it is only one channel. I knocked one point off for the less than excellent reverb unit, but otherwise this amp is PERFECT. Just don't turn it too loud or it buzzes.

Awesome amp for the $$$

By bjm007

Best little amp of it's kind (and I've had over 50 amps to compare to) It's got most of the classic amp tones on the planet in a small convenient package. Get this amp!

Blown away!

By Spark from Cherokee Park

from St. Paul, MN

Best little amp I've ever played. (and I've played a lot of them) Gets me just about anywhere I want to go "tone-wise". For practice and recording it's a must-have in your arsenal. Can't go 10 stars on quality as light burned out within one month. Everything else cooking along just fine.

Great little amp

This little box will surprise you with (1) the variety of tones you can get (2) the quality of the reverb and (3) the volume it puts out. The SansAmp analog modeling sounds more like a tube than *any* of the digital simulators I've heard. Great for practice, superb for recording and even as a stage amp, if you have a suitible PA.

The best sound you can buy

By Swampman

from Townsend, Delaware

See all my reviews

This thing has great sound. You can make it sound like a Marshall stack, a Mesa, even an old tweed amp with tubes, and just about anything else. This may be the ultimate recording amp; however, it is not very loud unless plugged into a power amp or PA, and it's a one channel deal, no switching your tones on the fly with a foot pedal. This amp amazes everyone who has plugged into it.

Little Tone Monster!

By Sixstring-AypuA

from Pennsyltucky

See all my reviews

This little amp has so many good tones in it, many of my friends would be unable to guess I was using it in a blindfold test. Seriously, this samll wonder is useful for many things like recording, practicing, light-weight travelling companion and yes, even gigging by using the house PA or a Tech21 Power Engine 60. And if you use the Power Engine route, you can chain as many together as you need. I have two PE60s myself. But even if you only ever use it in your living room, you can get monster tones out of it without waking up your family at 2:00 AM when you just gotta play...

Pricy, but worth it.

By Scooter-ckT1-

This amp has put a lot of the fun back into playing guitar for me. Its very light and small, so you can lug it around pretty much anywhere you feel like playing. This is not a loud amp, but was never meant to be. This amp was built to be a great sounding recording and practice amp, and it succeeds at that quite well. Almost every setting, other than perhaps the "Flat" speaker option, sounds wonderful. Does it perfectly emulate the amps it tries to copy? Not really. But it's pretty close, and the sounds you can coax out of this amp are unique in their own right. Those of you looking for a sparkling clean sound will probably want to look elsewhere though, even the cleanest settings tend to have a bit of edge to them. The price may seem kind of high for a 10 watt, 8 inch speaker practice amp, but you really get what you pay for in this case.

Does it all

If your band has a good POA, this is really all the amp you'll ever need. Amazing variety of tones from a tiny box- everything from mellow jazz tones through bluesy sounds, Marshall-inspired crunch and full shred. I use mine for recording and practice, but I'd tempted to use it for a coffeehouse sized gig, too.
