The Voodoo Lab Giggity Overdrive Guitar Effects Pedal isn’t just an overdrive or boost pedal. With its unique Body and Air tone shaping circuits, Giggity can help you fine-tune your overall sonic footprint. Placed after your pedalboard and before a clean amp, you can add a little grind, and thicken up the bottom by adding Body. Placed first in the signal chain, you can add Air to bring out the high-end shimmer and detail in your guitar's pickups. Also features a 4-position "Sun" to "Moon" preamp voicing selector to help you dial in the perfect tone. Each pedal is hand built in the USA using high-grade precision parts, and features true bypass switching via a high reliability gold-contact relay.

I like Voodoo lab pedals, this one I felt was just so-so. When I went through all the setting combinations I found the effect to be very mild. It is essentially an EQ pedal but I found my MXR 10 band EQ to be far more useful to get what I want. The overdrive side of things was nowhere as good as the Voodoo lab sparkle drive or super fuzz pedal.

A very useful sound shaping tool. Also, fun to use and adds something, from subtle to strong coloration depending upon your needs. Could possibly become an indispensable piece of gear for those that use it well. Needs a little tweaking to find your sweet spots, but actually easy to use, just alot of options available. Musical and functional.

I put this pedal through its paces with a wide variety of amps, guitars and other pedals. It simply is the most versatile tone enhancing device I have ever used in my rig. It makes a cheap guitar and amp rig sound great and it makes a great guitar and great amp rig sound stellar. It is advertised as an overdrive. The pedal is capable of creating transparent light overdrive but really works best in line with another overdrive or distortion pedals to make them come to life. The Giggity now has a permanent place in my pedal board rig.

OK, so my friend John bought this by accident (he was trying to buy another pedal but got kuh fused). Fooled around with it for awhile and stuck it on the shelf to rot.
I saw it the other day and asked if I could check it out. I tried it through a Twin Reverb, Princeton Reverb, Marshall JVM410H and several cabs using multiple guitars—Les Paul, Tele, several Strats (real and knock-offs).
The only usable sound I found was when you set the sun-moon switch in between its settings. In other words, if you're very careful you can get the control knob to sit in between the four real settings and completely bypass the sun-moon selector. You then get a decent overdrive, but still nothing to get excited about and it's not the way the designer intended for you to use it.
Voodoo makes some good stuff, and I'm sorry to have to write this, but this thing is silly.
And it's all just my opinion. And John's.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
