Voodoo Lab

Unique "octave up" effect that screams guitar hero!

Voodoo Lab's Proctavia is a fuzz/octave pedal that re-creates the unique sound heard on classic tracks like "Purple Haze." Proctavia is an exact replica of Tycobrahe Sound Company's Octavia pedal which creates a note an octave higher than the original. The sound of the Octavia effect can also be heard on numerous tracks by Jeff Beck, John Mayer, and Michael Landau.

Known for an aggressive, stringy sting, the original Octavia is prized by vintage stompbox collectors everywhere. Proctavia replicates the exact sound of the original and incorporates the same types of transistors, germanium diodes, and transformer-coupled output stage in its circuitry.

  • Classic fuzz/octave tones
  • True bypass switching with LED
  • Hand built in the U.S.A.

The Proctavia gives you the outrageous tones heard on some the greatest solos ever. Get yours today!

If you play between the 10 and 17 frets...

By Evan Riddell

from Kalamazoo, MI

Comments about Voodoo Lab Proctavia Pedal:

The Proctavia is an astounding reproduction of the beautiful octave-up effect made famous by Jimi Hendrix and others. Kicking it on yields screeching bliss, but only on the higher end of the fretboard. When Voodoo Labs could have improved upon the technology, they just reproduced it. It doesn't sound bad, by any means, it just becomes less useful. The build-quality is great, and I haven't had a problem with it since I threw it on my pedalboard. My biggest problem was dedicating a whole wall-wart to the thing; Voodoo Lab wanted to preserve the vintage specs to make this thing useless on a daisy-chain. Not the biggest of problems, and a great sounding pedal, so if you want "Purple Haze" to sound just right, order your's today.

Voodoo Labs Proctavia

By Joshpiledean

Comments about Voodoo Lab Proctavia Pedal:

My uncle actually owns an original Octavia, which he used for covering SRV some time in the 90's. I thought I'd compare the two, and I must say that they sound almost exactly alike, the only difference being the Proctavia sounded a bit more "gainey" when turned down. Great product, great value, and good for making some really cool sounds.

Proctavia is pretty cool

By Muddy Mike

from East Texas

Comments about Voodoo Lab Proctavia Pedal:

I was looking for an effect that got this sound I was hearing on some Ian Moore and Chris Duarte CD's. This is it. Not good for all the time but very cool when use in the right spots.
