Limited edition AC15C1 guitar amplifier in British Garnet Red with Celestion V-Type speaker.
The AC15C1-V-RD limited edition features a Celestion V-Type speaker, custom œBritish Garnet red Tolex and Tygon grille cloth. This custom colour projects a powerful presence in any environment “ on stage, in the studio, or at home. The V-Type speaker has been built using a carefully balanced 'recipe' of both old and new design techniques. It' a sweet-sounding speaker with a superbly balanced tonal signature that imparts a vintage musicality with authentic Celestion tone that' suitable for any playing style.
An Evolution in Tone
The VOX AC15C1 Custom Series amp offer two channels; Normal and Top-Boost. Each channel is equipped with its own Volume control, and the Top Boost channel offers highly interactive Treble and Bass tone controls. This powerful channel pairing provides an abundance of tone-crafting control, letting you dial in a classic tone that is all your own. Both channels rely on the Tone Cut and Volume controls in the Master section. The Tone Cut control operates in the power stage rather than the preamp stage, allowing an additional degree of tone-shaping. The Master Volume control works in conjunction with the individual volumes of each channel to create just the right degree of gain-staging. By balancing the individual and Master volumes, the Custom Series can deliver the coveted clean VOX "chimey" sound or a powerful overdriven tone “ and everything in between.
Sound in Motion
You can sweeten the sound of the VOX AC15C1 Limited Edition Custom Series amp by using the VOX Classic Tremolo effect. Both the speed and the depth are adjustable, making the Tremolo circuit extremely useful, allowing you to generate just the sound you want. A warm Spring Reverb is also included on all Custom Series amps, adding spaciousness to the sound. Using the Reverb and Tremolo together can create even more interesting effects. These onboard effects give the Custom Series their deep personality, and will add new dimensions of sound to your own playing.
There is no mistaking true tube tone. The AC15C1 combo amp make use of three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a pair of EL84 tubes in the power stage giving you 15 watts of power. A switchable 8" / 16" jack for powering an external speaker cabinet is avialable for when you need to speak with a little more authority; using this jack will mute the internal speakers. The extension speaker jack allows you to run an additional 16" cabinet along with the internal speakers for a fuller sound.
Celestion V-Type Speaker
The AC15C1-V-RD also features the Celestion Company' superb V-Type speaker. With a higher power handling capability it gives an exciting modern vintage tone with a brilliant high range and sense of attack.
No doubt about it. The VOX AC15C1 guitar amplifier has a lot to offer “ dual channels, tremolo, reverb, and more. Thankfully, it can use the VOX VFS2A footswitch (sold separately), allowing you to turn the Reverb and Tremolo effects on and off as you continue to play.

Comments about Vox Limited Edition AC15C1 Guitar Combo Amp:
I had the regular AC15, and it went out on me while still under warranty, so when I took it back to the shop, I took this one home instead. Not a really huge difference, but it's there. The more modern speaker definitely has a unique voice.
With a Tube Screamer in front, this thing can do anything from blues to high gain rock.
Don't let the 15 watts scare you though, I've played plenty of shows with it and never mic'ed it or even turned the master volume past 12 'o'clock, and it projects. I love it.
