I bought this amp about a month ago. I use it for my small travel amp. This is the bass amp that I play at home and take over to friends houses. It works well and has a great array of features for the price, but it lacks power. It is only 30W, but I was suprised at how quiet it is, and the mids and highs don't sound all that good.I normally play it wide open just to be heard over the guitars. It sounds fine miced through my PA, but standing alone it's really not adequate if you play with loud friends. It does maintain a good quality tone when its played wide open as long as you keep the low end turned all the way up, but hey, it's a bass amp. What other way is there?

I recieved this amp for my birthday two years ago. If I use this amp with my band and we want to crank it up, you sacrfice all the good tone from the amp. Not that this amp has good tone, it is all right. This amps 20 watts do not even compare with my friends 30 watt amp. I don't know how else to say it other then I hate this amp, it has not made me happy even as a practice amp. I'm looking forward to my new amp, I'm sure 180 watts will be much better.

    Frustrating

    By Sean-CtIXc

I do NOT like this amp, and I regret ever buying it. I play an active Schecter 5-string bass through it, and it simply cannot handle it. If I don't cut the low-end almost all the way down, the tone turns into the nastiest, grittiest distortion I've ever had the misfortune of playing through. It's not worth the price. Get a 15w Fender for virtually the same price, it'll probably be just as loud.

this amp is great! the comment below this 1 is me also but that is b4 i bought it. Now that i have this great amp i love it even more...mine is all black and it looks much cooler than this gray thing. This amp beats every other amp in its price range. You can do sooo much with it. I connected my 2 older amps to this beauty and my room has like bass surround sound. this amp is TOTALLY worth the money. BUY IT!

    Great for Beginnners!

After I bought this amp for my bassist we could finally hear him... in the garage! But outside could notice at all...so it has good feature I really like the contour knob...Also after playing for awhile it started buzzing...it was the paper cone against the wood, so we just screwed it down really tightly. Other than that its a great amp for practice in the home.

    Perfect For Practice

    By Fod

I got this amp for christmas and have loved it since. I have played it in ways that should of blown it (like driving it with a distortion pedal at full volume) for a thirty watt amp it is very loud and cuts through alright. With a distortion pedal I was cutting through 150 and 65 watt guitar amp. Not that you could feel it or anything but you could hear it.

    Washburn 30w Amp

    By Anonymous

This amp is the best starter amp you can find right now. My friend has it and we play on it over at his house. You can plug a bass and guitar into it and fill a bedroom with very loud music. Even though it is only thirty watts, it blows away anything else of the same or close wattage in the same price range (i.e. Rogue).

    Good for travel and practice

    By c0bra

I bought this to take on vacation as my 55w would take up too much room. It works great for practice and playing quiet with acoustic, etc. but forget trying to fill a room.

    Great product!

I got this a year ago and I never had a problem with it. I've cranked it up to 10 many times and it handles it very well. I've used it in a band room for a while and it can easily get over the drums! Great little amp and I am very happy with it!
