I had the opportunity to test this small pedal and can say I found it was so simple to dial in a tone that had beautiful clarity and punch. The only reason I didn't give it a highter rating on quality is that nothing is perfect and and really not having spent days and days with this machine I really couldn't testify to that...but as far as features go..it is perfect for my taste as the simpler the interface, the more time I have to focus on making music and not tweeking knobs. Value is unmistakable...I own a Sansamp Bass DI and everyone raves about it having such a great tone...well I am here to say that so does the NE 1 might even be better for some tastes...especially the funky and the jazzy among us.
I use this box as an extra to my bass amp and it is little marvel. When you have difficulty getting the sound you want out of you amp, set your eq and then polug this baby in and see hear the difference. I use for all my gigs and never leave home without it.
