Richer colors and deeper tones with the warmth of a tube and convenience of USB.

The Zoom B9.1ut bass effects console combines the most technically advanced audio engine with the warmth of a classic 12AU7 tube to produce the richest tones imaginable. Its ultra-fast ZFX-3 processor means all the world's most famous amplifiers, cabinets and effects are modeled with stunning accuracy. For the discerning bassist, the B9.1ut represents an impressive and powerful solution for creating rich, detailed bass tone.

96 kHz Sampling Provides High-Resolution for Sonic Accuracy
Delivering high-resolution, 96kHz sampling processing with 24-bit A-to-D and D-to-A conversion, the B9.1ut rivals the processing equipment found in the finest studios. This means that the wide pitch, timbre and dynamic ranges created by modern bass styles are handled without degradation, ensuring clear, transparent sound.

    Advanced ZFX-3 Audio Engine
The outstanding performance of the B9.1ut is made possible by its ultra-fast, 32-bit, ZFX-3 engine. This highly sophisticated processor means that every nuance of your performance is delivered as you imagine it, because the power of this processor reproduces every possible amp model and effect with true clarity.

    Accelerator Features 12AU7 Tube
Combining the raw processing power of the ZFX-3 with the 12AU7 tube accelerator produces richer harmonics and organic tone. By adjusting the mix balance, the thick characteristics of the 12AU7 tube and the striking clarity of the ZXF-3 can be adjusted so that saturation is natural and focused.

      Good Pedal But...

      By Stephen Hammock

      from Georgia

Comments about Zoom B9.1ut Bass Multi-Effects Pedal/USB Interface:

Really like the features and sound but I have had no success creating a connection from the B9.1ut to my Windows XP with SP4 and the included Librarian software. It would be much better to create patches, view patches, and save patches from the computer instead of the knobs and small digital readout from the B9.1ut. I contacted Zoom and their reply was "We guess that MIDI interface is not compatible with our product, we would recommend to use this product from following link. http://www.rolandus.com/products/productdetails.php?ProductId=1091&ParentId=436 However, the B9ED does not support Windows 7 64bit, it is supported by Windows XP (SP2 or higher) and Vista. When the B9ED ends, the error message comes out and patch data cannot be preserved. Preserved Patch List cannot be opened on a browser. We are terribly sorry that we did not meet your expectation. We will forward your feedback to our R & D team for future reference. Problem is the Roland MIDI cable they specify is no longer available. I have tried 2 high end cables with no success but I cannot continue to purchase cables in hopes of finding one that works. For this reason alone I am very dissatisfied with the B9.1ut and Zooms customer support. If you buy this unit do so with the expectation that computer interface is impossible.

      Bass pedalboard

Comments about Zoom B9.1ut Bass Multi-Effects Pedal/USB Interface:

I've only had it for a couple weeks, but it's working well so far to improve my overall sound. I like the fact you can use it like it's 5 different pedals all at once instead of having to set up several different patches for each effect. you can assign the effects to come on and off with the different buttons.

The wah isn't fantastic. I love my Snarling Dogs but it's nice to have everything in one unit. less to have to carry around. had I known the wah wasn't going to be very good I probably would have gotten the one without the pedal. using it as a volume pedel, ehh, most people can just adjust their bass volume by thumping lighter or harder so that's not really all that important (to me anyway)

big pedal. so big I can't find anything to put it in!! Going out to a sporting goods store tonight to try to find a custom mold gun case or something to hold it. hmm... again... if i'd bought the one without the pedal I could fit it in a # of cases/leather bags i have. *waives fist in air

overall good pedal. maybe I'll be able to find something usefull for that expression pedal to do.

you can download software to help program it. either way it's time consuming and a bit tricky to figure out stuf quickly. lots of options, knobs, buttons. would be nice if it came in Black. I see my red B9.1ut and I want to paint it black...
Seems very durable. heavy. buttons seem built well too.
so far it's worth the money

      Good, solid effects board

      By Highpocket

      from Louisiana

Comments about Zoom B9.1ut Bass Multi-Effects Pedal/USB Interface:

The only other device I have to compare this too is my Beringer bass V-amp. I enjoyed the v-amp but it did not have the floor switching capabilities. I tried a Beringer midi board with the v-amp but that was a programming nightmare so I sold it. Thought Line 6 would have released a bass floorpod (with knobs) but that never happened. Finally Zoom stepped up to offer a decent package.
After running through just a few trial presets I flipped through the manual to read up on this device. The manual is slightly over technical, so if you get one of these don't worry. Zoom really does make the manual harder to read than the board is to operate. After one pass through the manual I got the hang of how everything generally works then started really trying to understand the board operation. I can tell you that if you read the manual, play with the board, then go back and read the manual a few more times everything will make more sense. I think the manual terminology is the hardest thing to grasp because the board is fairly simple to operate.

The amp/cabinet selections are great. Plenty to play around with. The effects seem to work well. I don't have much experience on this board but I'm learning as I go. The dual action pedal is very nice, and I like the fact that I can adjust the resistance to my liking for both movement directions. Programming seems to be infinitely flexible. There are countless combination possibilities.
I was a little hesitant to order this zoom product without any reviews being posted but then I thought, it's zoom, it should be quality.

First board ordered had an LCD display problem. No information was showing up, only random numbers, letters and symbols scrolling across the screen. Everything else was working fine though. Emailed musicians friend about the problem and within an hour they had the return process ready for me to return ship! That has to be a record for any company! That's why I don't hesitate to order from these guys. Plus I have 45 days to try it. Can't lose.

Second board is working fine. The very first thing I noticed was how heavy this thing is! It's a chunk of actual metal that should withstand the stomping.
The board offers tons of amps and cabinets alone. The flexibility is amazing.
