Comments about Mighty Mite MM2906 P-Bass Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard:

The neck is built well and is made to nearly the same dimensions as a real Fender neck. However, the one that I ordered required work before I could use it.

Nearly every fret end stuck out, which required filing to make them flush with the fingerboard. The fingerboard also had excess glue residue in some spots.

It works just fine, but don't expect it to be perfect out of the box.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2906 P-Bass Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard:

This neck was perfect, I could not fine one thing wrong with it. I installed it on a Squier P bass body, it fit the neck pocket like a glove. After the neck was shimmed the action was dead on. The quality of this neck is fantastic, and so is the price. One last comment, don't use #8 by 1 1/2 screws use #10 by 1 3/4 if you can. I would buy another in a second.

Comments about Mighty Mite MM2906 P-Bass Replacement Neck with Rosewood Fingerboard:

Bought this for an old Memphis bass I was planning to fix up; I liked the old neck but the truss rod really needed to be replaced so I figured I'd be better off just buying a new neck.

Gotta say, this neck is MUCH nicer than the old one. I'd even say it's nicer than the neck on my MIM Fender Jazz bass. The wood has a nice pattern to it, and the fretwork is PERFECT. It actually fits better than the old Memphis neck, nice and tight. I appreciate that it comes with the nut already installed, but I'm probably gonna replace it with a nice bone nut.

As far as actually attaching it to the bass, you do have to drill the mounting holes. It's not too hard, I did it with a regular power drill and it came out fine. Would be easier with a drill press, but it can be done by hand.
